教学内容: Unit 12 My favorite subject is science
教材分析:
本课时主要学习掌握学科的表达;学习用because和表示品质的形容词表示理由;学习what,why,who引导的特殊疑问句。本课时围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题,设计的任务型活动:(1)谈论自己所喜欢的学科;(2)学习what引导的特殊疑问句和学科的表达;(3)演讲,让学生介绍自己喜欢某一学科的理由,学习why等特殊疑问句。
教学目标:
1. 知识目标:
a. 学习、理解、掌握和运用下列单词:
有关学科:subject, math, science, history, P.E, biology
相关的形容词:fun, interesting, boring, difficult, relaxing.
其它单词:because, teacher, Mr., Mrs., example, city, mom, dad, busy, strict, tired.
b. 学习、理解、掌握和运用下列表达法:
2. 能力目标
a.使学生学会用英语熟练地讨论自己喜爱的学科并给出理由。
b.使学生学会讨论自己喜爱的其他东西并给出理由。
3. 情感,态度,价值观目标
a.通过学习使学生懂得各学科要均衡发展,调整偏科的倾向,
教学重点:
Key vocabularies and phrases.

Writing practice
教学难点: Pairwork.Oral practice.
教学方法: Audio-visual teaching methods,Task-based teaching methods and Communicative teaching method
Teaching Procedures
StepⅠ.Warming up
1.Before the lesson , play the English song of “Two Butterflies”,and make the students feel interested in this lesson.
(设计说明) 课前播放一首英文歌曲两只蝴蝶(英文版),以这种学生喜闻乐见的形式导入新课,为学生创造轻松愉快的学习气氛, 激发学生的好奇心,为学习新课打下伏笔。
2.Ask Ss whether they like this song or not,and ask them"What kind of songs do you like "Then encourage them to answer it with the following words like:popular songs,light music,rock music,jazz and so on.
3.Review the new words:
Show out the following words on the screen, and ask the students to read them after the teacher.

StepⅡ. Leading in
1.Show out some pictures about animals like:
Ask the Ss,”What kind of animals do you like ”and then encourage them to answer it.
2.Next,show another four pictures of movies like:
Encourage the Ss to make their own conversations.
A:What’s your favorite movie
B:I like the movie of “Put up your hands”
A:What kind of movies do you like
B:I like comedies.
A:Why do you like comedies.
B:Because they are very funny.
StepⅢ. Presentation
Show out some pictures about subjects, get them to guess what subject it is on the screen.(Such as Chinese,maths,English,P.E.music,politics,history and etc.)
Next,encourage the Ss to make their own conversations:
A:What’s your favorite subjet
B:My favorite subject is English,
A:Why do you like English
B:Because it is very interesting.
Then ask them to aci it out in front of the class.
StepⅣ.Listening
The listening includes 1b,2a and 2b,this can improve their listening abilities.
StepⅤ.Prictice
1.Encourage them to make their own conversations according to the pictures on the screen.like:
A:What’s your ______subjet
B:My favorite _________is English,
A:Why do you like______
B:Because it is very________.
2. Complete the conversation with the words in the box.You can use some of the words two times.
A: What is ______favorite
B: ______favorite subject is art.
A: Who is _____ art teacher
B:_____art________is Mrs Jones.
StepⅥ.Consolidation
Ask the Ss to read the conversation on the screen,and then finish the exercise.
Tim: Hi,Jim,Are you good at math
Jim: No,I’m not.I don’t like math very much.But I like science.It’s my favorite subject.What’s your favorite subject
Tim: Art.Hi,Jack.Do you like art
Jack: No.P.E.is my favorite subject.What about you,Tom What’s your favorite subject
Tom: My favorite is history.
Jack: Chinese history or the World history.
Tom: Chinese history.But I’m not very good at it.

教学反思:
在这篇对话教学中,我给学生提供了几个对话技巧,在本课中学习并加以应用.取得了较好的效果.大部分学生都可以掌握.但在今后的学习中还要不断的实践和使用,以利于学生形成自己的组织策略.本课之后,应鼓励学生开展各种形式的口,笔交际活动,如复述对话的主要内容,讨论别人的喜好等等,从而将语言学习和语言运用统一起来,并增强对学生的情感教育.
