What’s that It’s … Is that a (black) … No , it isn’t. Is that a (brown) door Yes , it is.

Cards, pictures, tape , recorder.
Teaching procedures:
Period one
Step 1 Revision
1. What’s this It’s a book.(an apple /a banana/ a pencil… )
Step 2 Learn new sentences
(1)What’s this It’s…What’s that It’s …
(2)Read the sentences: “What’s this ” and “What’s that ”. One by one then let students know the sentences answer as “It’s …” .
(3)Finish Activity 1: Look, ask and answer.
(4)Use the pictures to learn new words: bed pillow window clock mirror blanket door lamp,teacher and partner pratise. “It’s …”.Then everybody points to pictures by themselves, ask and answer.“What’s that It’s …”. (bed pillow window clock mirror blanket door lamp.)
(5)Action: Let students act out the sentences.
(6)Listen the recorder and then read after the recorder.
(7) Practice 1: Listen and number.
(8) Practice: P15 Listen say and circle
(9)Homework:
<1> Sing English song: Do you like baseball
<2>Copy the new words.
教学后记:
1﹒通过TPR,以动作形式导入—操练新知识,学生有较浓厚的学习兴趣,而且教学效果较好。
2﹒在学习人物的过程中,作示范不够清晰,因此,有部分学生区分不是很清楚,在示范时因示范清楚,直到学生明白为止会更好。
3﹒多媒体的运用,增添了学习的色彩感,效果好。
Period two
Step 1 Revision
(1)Revice the words: bed pillow window clock…
(2)Ask and answer: “What’s that It’s …”
Step 2 presentation
(1) Revice the colour words: black white brown…ect.
(2) Sing color song.
(3) Point to the pictures or the oral thing and say: It’s a (blue…) pencil”.
(4) The teacher point to a pencil ask and answer by myself:What’s this It’s a pencil. Is this a pencil Yes, it is. (Is this a ruler No’ it isn’t.)
(5) The teacher point to the pencil from the student’s desk.with students ask and answer:“What’s that ” It’s a pencil. Is that a pencil Yes, it is. (Is that a ruler No’ it isn’t.)
(6) Let some students act out.
(7) Finish: Activity 2: Color, ask and answer
A.Everybody repair colour pens.
B.Use the sentences: Is that… Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t. Ask and answer.
(8) Study English song: What’s that?
(1) Listen the song twice.
(2) Sing together.
(3) Play the tape again and sing along.
(9) Practice: P18 Read match and write.
(10) Practice 2: Your turn! Listen and answer.
(11) Homework:
<1> Sing English song: What’s that!
<2>Read after the tape from page 23 to page 26 five time.
教学后记:
1.在教新单词的过程中,对各个单词都配以相应的动作教学,学生学习积极性很高,而且大部分学生很快就掌握了该课单词的发音。
2.结合教学内容,创设情境教授对话部分,学生有较大的学习兴趣和表演欲望,学习效果良好。
3.结合本课以动作为主的特点,有目的地设计各项游戏活动,学生活动积极主动,课堂气氛活跃。
Period three
Step 1 Revision
1.dectation the words: mirror blanket door lamp.
2.Sing English song: What’s that!
Step 2 Presentation : Study the sound of letters
<1> Listen, point and say
(1) Write the letters “sh” on the blackboard.
(2) Circle “sth”.
(3) Play the tape then let the students read after the tape.
(4) Pay attention to pronouce “shoes” and “shirts”.
<2> Listen and chant.
(1) Play the tape.
(2) Listen and point to the pictures.
(3) Play the tape again. The students read after it.
<3> Practice: P18 Listen to the chant and mark.
<4> Homework:
1.Copy the new the words six times.
2.Read the text well at home.
教学后记:
1.以游戏,活动形式复习,能激发学生兴趣,学生在活动过程中复习、巩固旧知识,效果好。
2.通过练习可知,学生对故事部分的内容掌握较好,基本都能互相开展对话询问,并能做出相应的回答。同时,也反映了学生对于重点句型不太熟练,有待加强练习。
3.部分学生对于新学句子 What are these 与旧句子 What is this 以及他们的答句有区分不清的现象,有待下节课加强。
