Unit 8 Shapes
一、教学设计思路
以语言交际为中心,努力为学生创设富有趣味和符合运用实际的语言情境,培养和训练学生运用英语进行交际对话,互问互答,达到锻炼学生口语表达的目的。
二、教学目标
1.复习和巩固有关形状的6个单词和已经学过的句型 “What shape is it It’s a …”,学习运用How many …can you see 对形状的数量进行提问,并作回答,努力拓展学生使用I can see….完整句进行回答,训练学生听录音画形状,和练唱歌曲。
2.培养学生对形状的辨别和数量的描述能力,会根据听到的形状画出图形。
3.培养学生学习兴趣,对事物形状的细微观察,和相互交流的意识,增进学伴之间的情感交流。
三、教学重点、难点
重点:1、句型的学习和交际运用。
2、巩固对各种形状单词的记忆理解和运用。
难点:1、尝试使用完整句式回答。
2、根据情景灵活运用各种形状的单词。
四、教学具备
自制教学卡片,手工画,课件,听力资源,教学光盘
五、板书

How many stars can you see I can see 4 stars.
How many circles can you see I can see circles.

六、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up:
Listen to a song “What’s this ”
Step 2 Review:
Use the shape cards to go over each shape with the students, and sing the song in text book “Hello, I’m a square.”
Step 3 Presentation:
1. Show the picture of Mr. Shapey’s house. Help the students talk about shapes and the number of each shape. Use the structure like “What shape is it It’s a …” “How many … can you see I can see…”
2. Modle work with at least 3 times. Ask and answer about “What shape is it ” “How many … can you see ”
Step 4 Practice
1. Have the students practice in pairs. Pair work feedback at least 3 groups.
2. listen and draw: listen to the movie about Mr. Shapey, draw out Mr. Shapey on the paper.
3. Let’s show Mr. Shapey.
Step 5 Feed back
Use the PPT, and do some picture talking randomly. Have the students ask and answer in pair with out any preparation.

Step 7 Home work
Finish the exercise on page 12 “listen and draw” at home.
