一、Teaching Contents:
1、Let’s check听力练习检查学生对unit 5 所学内容的掌握情况。
2、Let’s chant, 通过说有节奏、有韵律的歌谣学习与巩固本课所学的单词。
3、Let’s sing. 通过歌曲的学习,激发的兴趣,巩固所学的单词。
4、 Let’s think. 通过联想,培养学生运用新单词的能力。
二、Teaching Aims:
1、能学会本课的八个新单词。( get up , get dressed, brush my teeth, do to school, get home, do my homework, eat dinner, do to bed.)
2、能在一定的情景中运用本课的新单词。
3、培养学生的注意力,激发学生的积极思维,挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力。

本课的单词图片;录音机;磁带。
三、Teaching Procedure
Step 1 Revision
Ask and answer
T: What time is it
Ss: It’s …
T: What do time you go to school
Ss: I go to school at…

Getting ready
T: Look at picture A. What are they talking about ( point to the food.) They’re talking about food.
T: ( point to the boy in the picture B.) Is he sleeping
Ss: No, he’s not.
T: ( point to the clock in the picture C.) What time is it
Ss: It’s 9: 45.
T: ( point to the girl in the picture D.) What’s she doing
Ss: She’s watching TV./ She’s talking to her Dad.
Using the book
Have individual Ss read aloud the four sentences before listening.
T: Let’s listen to the tape.
Play the tape for A in the appropriate box.
Continue with the rest.
Practice 2
Getting ready
Have Ss look at the sentences on the page.
T: A. (S1’s name), can you read the question
S1: What time is it
Ask another three Ss to read the other three questions.
Have all Ss practice reading aloud to themselves for a few minutes.
Using the book
T:Now look at A. What time is it
Have one student answer truthfully for D.
Put Ss into pairs and have them practice the Q&A exchanges.
Chant activity
Getting ready
Write the lyrics, line by line, in random order on the board.
Point to each line in random order and have Ss read it aloud.
Using the book
T: Let’s listen to the chant.
Play the tape and have Ss listen.
T: This time, try to remember the order the lyrics.
Play the tape again and then ask Ss to help you number the line the board in order.
T: Let’s chant together.
Play the tape again for Ss to chant.
Ask, answer and write.
Getting ready
On the board, write What time does Jenny___
Give Ss the cue words from the page and have them say the complete questions.
T: ( point to the blank.) Get up.
Ss: What time does Jenny get up
Using the book
Divide the class into two groups.
Have group A use chart A and cover chart B. have group B use chart B and cover chart A.
T: ( take to group A.) Look . You don’t know what time Jenny gets up, but group B knows the answer. (S1’s name), ask the question. S1: What time does Jenny get up
Have S1 from group B answer. S1: She gets up at 7: 25.
T: ( take to group B.) (S2’s name), ask group A a question. S2: What time does Jenny get dressed
Have S2 from group A answer. S2: She gets dressed at 7: 30.
Put Ss in A/B pairs to do the rest of information gap activity.
Check the answers when Ss are finished.
