The third period (Song activity,Activity,Sounds and words)
Target :1 Sing a song; do some exercise 2 Read and write;
3 The sounds “sk, st” 4 Listen and chant.
Teaching key point:Sounds and words.
Teaching aids:tape-recorder,word-cards.
一、Greeting.
二、 Song activity .
1、 Have Ss look at the pictures around the lyrice.
Point to the pictures ang ask some questions,
Let’s read out the lyrice first.
Read out the sentence and have the Ss repeat.
Listen to the tape.
Play the tape and point to each word.
Play the tape again and have Ss practice the song together.
2、 Have Ss look at the picture at page 50.
Ask the Ss too guess what the missing words are.
Let’s listen to the song again and finish these sentences.
Play the tape again,pausing when necessary for Ss to write the words in the blanks.
Let’s sing.
Play the tape and have the whole class sing.
When the Ss have learn the song ,divide the class into two groups.
One group sings the questions and the other group sings the answers.then switch.
三、Activity.
Point to boys on the page.
Ask : who is healthy then ask one Ss to answer .
Fcount the number of Ss putting up hands and write the results on the board. Check the resultsagain.
Ask four voluvteers to read out a sentence each from number 1.
Ask three more Ss to read out the questions for the class.
Give Ss time to write the answers on the page.
Do the same with number 2.
Put Ss into pairs to check their answers.
四、Sounds and words.
1、Write the words on the board and underline the beginning “sk , st.”
Point to the letter and soung.
Have Ss look at the pictures on the page.
Listen to the tape.
Listen and repeat.
After enough practice,point to the picturrres randomly and have Ss say the words.
2、 Have Ss look at the picture next to the lyrices.
T:what are they doing
Practice the sound in the chant.Let’t read the lyrics first.
Find the words that begin with “sk”.listen to the tape and practice.
When Ss are ready ,chant together.
五 Summary.
