本学期4月28日上午第三节我在高二(3)班开了一节英语阅读公开课。该阅读课是一篇有关机器人的科幻小说。这个话题学生比较感兴趣,对他们很有吸引力。但对于他们来说,文章可能有点长。为了培养他们良好的阅读习惯,课前我布置了一个预习作业,让他们带着问题提前预习文章,避免了盲目的阅读,学生也比较配合。在设计教学内容的过程中,我充分考虑了以下几个方面:
1. 以培养学生的兴趣为主,导入部分运用相关的机器人的图片更加形象、直观,激发学生学习英语的动力和阅读的欲望
鉴于三班的学生学习氛围比较好,大部分同学都会提前预习文章,所以课前给的预习作业也只是核对答案,有争议的题目,再重点分析
把握文章的重难点,以主人公 “Claire”对机器人 “Tony” 的情感逐步变化为主线,引导学生分析文章的细节部分,加深文章的理解
4. 根据学生的阅读情况和时间安排适当地调整教学内容
“Discussion” 部分增加文章的趣味性,在阅读的基础上加以延伸,充分发挥学生的想象力
在上课的过程中,我认为以下几个方面还得在以后的教学中加以改进:
1. 给学生的阅读时间还应再多一些,尽管学生预习得还可以,但文章太长,对他们来说有一定的难度,理解比较费力,再给一些充裕的思考和阅读时间效果会更好
2. 课堂容量比较大,对于基础偏差的学生来讲,有些跟不上,应更多地照顾到全班同学,尤其是那些想学但苦于基础不好的学生
3. 对学生的积极配合,应更多地给予肯定和赞赏,多鼓励
4. 语音语调需加强,尤其是某些单词的发音,更应该加强自身基本功的修养
