探求民主、平等的课堂互动方式
这是一节比较成功的课。这节课有以下几个亮点值得一提:
1、教学目标的达成
本节课基本上达成了预定的教学目标,听说读写均得到相应的训练,并突出了对初一学生的听说能力的训练,教学目标明确、具体且呈现多元化,符合国家《英语课程标准》的基本理念,教学效果良好。
2、师生配合默契
教师教态亲切自然,师生关系融洽,有较强的应变能力,善于调动学生的学习积极性,善于创造符合本节教学内容的情景。如,为激发学生学习年月日与生日的表达方式的兴趣,一开始教师就预设了“Today is my birthday Could you sing a song for me ”并播放“生日歌” “Happy birthday to you.”接着就带动学生跟着老师一起唱起歌来。这不仅一下子拉近了师生间的距离,同时也一下子“点题”——导入今天要上的内容。所以,尽管这是在借班上课,但是让人感觉不出该教师是在借班上课。一节课里,这种以增进师生情感的做法不少。整节课下来让人感觉顺畅,没有压抑感,学生的情智得到顺利发展。
3、教学方法与策略运用得当
本节课重点学习年月日及生日表达方式的有关词汇、句型和句子并以此培养学生的相应的听说读写的能力。为达此目的,该教师善于创设使学生对学习感兴趣的教学情景,如生日歌等。同时,该教师还善于应用教学方法与策略,运用课件将月份的词汇及缩略词按一定的规律加以编排,然后引导学生认真观察,教师再带领学生一起做最后的总结。这样一来,教师教得轻松、学生也学得轻松,教学效果自然显著。
4、教学流程顺畅、开放、自然
本节课从开始、导入新课、到词汇学习、再到句型操练最后再到听说读写的训练等过程,呈现出由旧引新、由易到难、由浅入深的逐级深化的过程,符合学生的认知规律与智力发展的规律。而且由于该教师上课不紧不慢、有条不紊,循循善诱,动静结合、有问有答,生生互动、师生互动,听说读写全面训练,并突出重点,运用有效方法突破难点,并且由于给予了学生足够的时间进行独立思考与学习。故,整个教学流程顺畅、开放、自然,体现了民主、互动、开放与合作的精神,学生的情商与智商得到有效开发与锻炼,教学效果显著。
当然,有个别地方有待商榷,如叫班上其他学生纠正一个学生语音上错误的做法似乎不妥,应予停止。

一、教师教学基本功扎实。林秀珠老师口语流利,语言生动,思路清晰,条理清楚。有较强的驾驭教材和课堂的能力,教学经验丰富,善于找到教材和学生认知的最佳契合点。也有年轻教师的激情和创意,教学手段丰富,教学形式多样。她的课既满足了初中学生对英语课堂趣味性的要求,又紧紧扣住教学大纲的基本要求。值得一提的是,林老师很擅长将多媒体与传统板书有机结合运用,两种手段运用自如,相得益彰,效果良好。
二、教材调整安排合理。林秀珠老师针对本节课的重点,对教材做了大量的、大胆的调整,使知识点的教学安排由浅入深,由易到难,使课堂教学过程更加流畅,衔接也更加自然。比如:在Lead-in and learn 部分,教师以“month”和“year”两个单词为“引子”,较快地完成教材中1b和3a的教学任务。教师先以“month”为中心词,进行12个月份的单词训练。她先是要求学生将12个月份逐一念出,学生一边念,教师重复并将单词一一写在黑板上,这是对单词音形义的第一次呈现。接着,教师提醒学生注意观察12个月份的缩写形式,并引导学生自行归纳出月份缩写形式的特征。随后,教师采用了read the word-cards one by one的形式,在这一过程中,教师不断地纠音,发现问题并予以解决。
再如:在Presentation部分,Make dialogues with the Ss.Then lead to the target language and learn it.

教师先通过图片引入birthday一词,再从介绍自己的生日到对学生年龄的询问,最后转化为本课的重难点句型:When were you born I was born in… 这样层层铺垫,循循善诱,既可看出教师对新知识点输入的“用心良苦”,也说明教师遵循学生认知规律,站在学生的角度上看问题,较好地抓住学生的兴趣点,从而使课堂贴近学生并富有成效。
三、课堂活动设计合理。林秀珠老师安排的教学活动面大,由全体到个体再到全体,而且活动量恰到好处,点到为止,活动可谓热火朝天,却不喧宾夺主。比如:对12个单词的教学,教师运用了多种教学手段,通过多媒体展示一组与圣诞节、植树节、五一节、六一节、教师节等节日有关的图片,请学生猜相应的月份,在“看图猜月份”的游戏中,进一步巩固了学生对12个月份单词的学习。
这堂课还有许多闪光的亮点,不作一一点评。当然,也有美中不足的地方,也许是借班上课的缘故,师生之间的配合尚欠默契,这也说明教师对于陌生课堂新情况的处理经验略有欠缺,有时候过于紧张。

1.大胆整合教材。对原教材顺序进行颠覆性的处理。原教材的板块顺序是1a—1b—1c—2—3a—3b ,而整合后的顺序为1b—3a—1c—3b—1a ,把2 另做处理。整合后的教学板块顺序更合理,使教学流程逐步深入,环环相扣。
2.课堂节奏张驰有度,“动”、“静”结合。有师生之间、生生之间的多种形式的互动(体现在生词学习和句型操练上等);有给学生独立观察、思考、找出规律,自主学习的环节(体现在年份如何表达、be born 中was和were的区别、以及含有be born的句子结构等)。
3.课堂气氛活泼,学生参与热情高涨。在突破1b和3a之后,教师展示了自己的相片,说:I was born in March, 1986。引导学生学习句型When were you born I was born in …, Where were you born I was born in…。在教师的引导下,学生紧张而有序地进行俩俩对话和连锁问答,紧接着教师再呈现许多学生熟悉的大明星的照片,如赵本山、姚明、刘翔等,更大大激发了学生的参与热情,学生的表达愿望空前高涨,教学气氛达到了高潮,而句型When was he/ she born He /She was born in …。Where was he/ she born He/She was born in…。的掌握,自然也水到渠成,学生学得轻松而有趣,教学效果显著。

5.展示了教师的教学基本功。教态自然大方,英汉口语流利顺畅。虽然是借班上课,但是师生配合默契,教学环境轻松和谐。而且,教师擅长运用手势语言,发出的指令明确清晰,整节课都在她的可调控之下,教学进行有序。
当然,这节课还有可改进的地方,比如,如果能在作业中增加设计一份对家人或朋友们的出生年月和出生地地描述,作为“写”的作业,那么,这节课的教学设计则更完美。
