一、指导思想及总的评价
这份试卷据2008年河南省高级中等学校招生学业考试英语试卷及上级教研室精神,模拟出这套试题进行讲评。众所周知试卷讲评是一个新的课题，目前还没有看过或听过哪位先生成功地上过试卷讲评课，本人才疏学浅，在这里献丑，宗旨是抛砖引玉，引导大家共同来探讨这个课题，把这个课题的开展推向深入，以便以后对学生试卷的评讲能起到积极地作用。
这份试题着重考查学生理解、运用语言的能力以及听力理解的能力，降低对语法的要求，不出偏、难题的语法题，增加语境化、综合化的因素，命题同时渗透课程的新理念，从“知识与技能，过程与方法、情感态度与价值观”等几方面，对学生应掌握的内容和应具备的能力进行全面考核。学生总体得分情况良好，满分为120分，最高分116分，人均97分，错误主要在听力，完形填空，阅读理解，补全对话以及写作上，克服的办法：注意答题技巧，夯实基础。
二、具体题型浅评
※听力部分
听力部分共分3节。第一节，听对话选择最恰当的答语。第二节，听对话或独白，选出最佳答案。第三节，听短文按题目要求，将标号填入表格中的相应位置，听力试题根据教学要求和学生特点，具有较强的交际功能，听力材料的选择主要根据课标中的日常交际用语，选材富有生活气息，注重考察学生捕捉信息、获取信息，分析和解决问题的能力，通过对学生试卷的分析，班级学生总体得分较差，人均13分。从整个听力部分来看，学生的症结在于：其一，心理紧张，一开考就做听力题，还未进入状态；其二，听力技巧欠缺，抓不住关键词句，咬住听不懂的词不放，以致放弃了全句；其三，捕捉主旨意义和整体把握对话或短文内容的能力弱，不能正确推断说话人的身份、意图和观点。在以后二个多月的教学中，应加强对听力的训练。

从上表可以看出，该题淡化了纯语法和纯词组的考查，加强了在特定语言环境下的词汇（短语）和交际用语的考查，符合语言本质特征的需要。
Ⅱ、完形填空
完形填空既考查单项语法知识，又考查阅读理解能力，故有人说这类题是高一级的阅读理解，除41和48小题是纯语法题目外，其余均测试考生对短文的整体理解能力，运用知识和逻辑推理能力。本篇叙述了一位小男孩，在他妈妈的鼓励下参加了一次演讲比赛，这次比赛成了他一生的转折点。这篇文章蕴涵着深刻的哲理，告诉每个人要相信自己、要有自信心，本题删词的间距设计合理，难度适中，其中一些题选择需要掌握短文大意并理解短文中的某些细节后才能做出判断，还有一些题要通过前后观察，运用其词义和语感选择正确答案。做这类题，要注意对学生这方面答题技巧的点拨。强调学生力争要读透短文，遇到不会填的题，切记不要自己给自己设置陷阱，徘徊不前，一定通过上下文来斟酌！
Ⅲ、阅读理解
完形填空和阅读理解都是语言水平考试常用的题型之一，考查英语基础知识的运用能力，要求学生根据所给内容进行正确的逻辑推理，综合判断和分析概括，即能够根据上下文判断、理解生词、句子的含义，段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系，读懂文章主题，理解故事情节，预测故事结局，运用阅读策略能够从常见体裁的不同阅读材料中获取信息。阅读理解共有4篇，对学习阅读理解能力的要求进一步提高，也是分值较高的题型，共20小题40分，占总分的三分之一。A篇富有生活气息贴进生活；B篇具有较强的时代感；C篇涉及中外文化的差异，较好地落实了课程标准中关于文化意识培养的理念；D篇是关于大象的介绍，把A-F六个句子中，筛选五个填入空缺处，四篇文章中生词注明汉语释义，使学生无阅读障碍，班级学生得分情况良好。
Ⅳ、补全对话
补全对话是学生的薄弱环节，学生得分拉距最大，班级情况得分最高分8分，人均4分，学生错误主要表现在缺乏答题技巧及基础不牢上，在今后两个多月的学习中，要加强学生这方面的训练。该题是主观题。是在一个篇长度为82个单词的对话中留出5个空白处，要求学生根据所给情景及上下文内在的语言逻辑联系，在空白处填写5个完整的句子，使补充后的对话前后连贯，意思完整，该试题取材于现实生活，将对话置于一个特定的情景中，实用性强。对话是在A和B两人之间展开（其中一人为外国人）：B向A询问不来参加昨晚派对的原因，进而邀请A下午去散步，再由此过渡到谈论天气状况，对话的设置与文化、生活实际密切相关，且所填空白处句子全是B一人的话语，有利于学生置身对话情景中，充当B的角色。此题考查学生在特定的语境中运用所学语言知识进行交际的能力。
Ⅴ、书面表达
书面表达要求写一封回信，向好友陈述班级近况。试题设计一如既往地联系学生实际，贴近学生生活，面向全体学生，既不会感到无从下笔，而且又给学生留有想象和发挥的空间，让人人都有话可说，不管英语程度如何，都能根据自己的英语水平表达思想，且字数要求控制在60～80个单词。对于语言基本功不太扎实的考生来说，降低了失分的机率。只要认真审题，弄清写作要求，用简洁又熟悉的语言，尽量少出现严重的词汇拼写和语法错误，卷面书写工整，这样就能拿到一个比较理想的分数，此次作文平均分最高，人均12分。
三、教学反思
1、加强听力训练。听力是中学生学习英语应掌握的基本技能。听力失分较多是影响总成绩的一大因素。英语作为一门语言，听力考查是一大趁势，不容忽视。
2、重视基础，培养学科素养
我省08年的中考英语试题再一次证明“狠抓基础”的重要性。对中学英语教学注重“双基”的培养可起到导向性作用。在今后的教学中，教师要强化，学生要重视语言基本功的训练，同时还要注重培养学生的语感，培养学生的学科素养。
3、培养综合语言运用能力
