Cartoon talk
1 Give students some time to look at the cartoon on SB 8B, page 15. Tell them to read the sentences carefully.
2. Meaning of the cartoon:
The cartoon draws our attention to the chapter topic, comic strips and cartoon characters. The character Lo is vainly watching himself in a mirror.

A. Attributive adjectives
作定语时:
1).一般在名语前(前置定语)

A).形容词修饰不定代词:

4). Word stress
When we read sentences, we usually stress important words, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs. We usually put a little more stress on the last important word in the sentence.

One day, a crow found a piece of meat. Seeing this mouth-watering piece of meat, a fox thought of a evil trick, and said to the crow, "Miss Crow, I was informed that you could sing beautifully. Could you please sing once for me " On opening her mouth, the crow only saw her meat fall to the ground. Holding the meat in the mouth, the fox rushed back into a hole.
Exercise B --- Work in groups to create your own comic strips. Display them and tell the stories to the class.
