Read the text quickly and find the answer to the following questions:
1. How many ways to create unusual pictures are mentioned in the passage
2. What are they
Step 4 :Careful reading
Read the text carefully and fill in the chart.
Step 5 :Discussion
What other things could be used to make art And how would you use them to make art
Step 6 :Project
1. Which type of unusual picture will you research
2. Where will you find out about this type of picture
3. What will you include in your article
4. Who will make a cover for the small book
5. What will you put on it

1 A few years ago, a picture of Mona Lisa was made out of slices of bread baked to different colors.

1) You could make some cushion covers out of those old curtains.
2) We made a shelter from leaves and branches.
2 Cut some small slices of carrot or cheese to serve as hair and arrange it in the hairstyle that you want.

serve as: to be useful or helpful for a particular purpose or reason function as
1) During World War II, when London was bombed, many underground stations functioned as bomb shelters.

3 Choose small shells so they will not be very heavy when they are stuck onto the card.
These pictures will be quite big, so you should use strong paper or card and very strong glue to stick the rubbish onto the card.

We used glue to stick the broken pieces together.
She finds it impossible to stick to a diet.
Just make a decision and stick to it.
stick out for 坚持索求（要求）
