Mobile phones have become part of people’s life and do bring us lots of advantages,but there have been an argument about the safety of using them for many years. What’s your idea on this issue Do you think the use of mobile phones is dangerous or not Why
Now let’s read a newspaper article about the possible negative effects of mobile phone use on people’s health.
Step2 reading strategy

Read the title and the first paragraph carefully and answer the following questions.

He might be worried about the use of mobile phones because he says, ‘Scientists have

Step3 list the advantages and disadvantages

Using a mobile phone doubles the risk of developing brain cancer.

The report is based on the findings of research that was carried out in Sweden, comparing 1,617 patients found to have brain tumours between 1997 and 2003 with the same number of healthy people.
