Step1. Warm up
To look at the pictures and talk about the Silk Road with students and teacher introduces some information the Silk Road to the students
There are two questions for students to talk about:
1. Seeing the picture, what things will you think about
2. When talking about the silk road, who will occur into your mind
Step2. Pre-reading
Look the picture and have a free talk with the students to talk about the Macro Polo and what he did in China.
Step3. Reading
Task1. Fast reading
Read through the text quickly, and find match the paragraphs with the main idea.
Task2. Second reading
Read through the text quickly, and find out the information about Marco Polo and fill out the following form.
Task3. The third reading
Read the passage again and answer the following questions.
