【学习目标】
熟练掌握本课时的生词及短语, 运用“Used to + 动词原形”及表示外貌和性格的词语谈论过去,通过“used to” 句型的练习,培养学生的听说能力,培养学生积极健康的心态,学会谈论事物的发展和变化,明白事物是不断变化的道理。
【教学重点和难点】
重点:used to + 动词原形
难点:熟练运用used to句型谈论过去。

教师出示周杰沦不同时期的两张照片的幻灯片,在两张照片下分别标上10年前和10年后的今天,让学生观察图片,老师描述图片:
T: Jack Zhou had short hair 10 years ago.
T: Look at this picture. Does he have curly hair now
S: Yes, he does.
T: That’s right. He had short hair 10 years ago. But now he has curly hair. We can describe him like this: Jack Zhou used to have short hair. But now he has curly hair. We use “used to” to talk about how people or things have changed.

四、用课件展示出学生非常感兴趣的超级女生的一系列的以前和现在的照片,让学生用来描述,使学生对Used to + V原这一结构更加熟悉。
五、任务一
小组竞赛,看哪个小组在规定的时间内写出属于appearance和personality的单词最多。然后描述一下自己的性格和外貌。
六、听力训练
1、Next you are going to listen to a conversation. In the conversation you will find that Bob is seeing some friends for the first time in four years. Listen and fill in the chart with words telling about friends’ appearances and personalities.

例: A: Mario used to be tall.

A: Zhang Limei used to be sad.
B: Yes, she did. Now she’s happy.
A: Zhu Wenjun used to be dirty.
B: Yes, he did. Now he’s clean.

十、语言点导学
1、 used to do sth. 过去常常做某事, 强调整过去习惯性的行为或状态,
但是现在没有这种行为或状态了。因此,这个短语的内涵是今昔对比。
We used to go there every year.
我每年都去那儿。
He is not what he used to be.
他已不是旧日的他了。
2、否定形式: didn’t use to do sth. / used not to do sth.
如:He used to play football after school. 放学后他过去常常踢足球。
Did he use to play football Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.
He didn’t use to smoke. 他过去不吸烟。
①肯定陈述句+否定提问 如:Lily is a student, isn’t she
Lily will go to China, won’t she
②否定陈述句+肯定提问 如:
She doesn’t come from China, does she
You haven’t finished homework, have you
③提问部分用代词而不用名词 Lily is a student, isn’t she
④陈述句中含有否定意义的词,如:little, few, never, nothing, hardly等。其反意疑问句用肯定式。 如:
He knows little English, does he 他一点也不懂英语,不是吗?
They hardly understood it, did they 他们几乎不明白,不是吗?

interesting adj.有趣的,指某事物/某人具有趣味,主语往往是物
5. I’m on the swim team. 我参加了游泳队。

说说你熟悉的人,四人一组,请学生把自己熟悉的人介绍给伙伴们,(老师、同学、父母、明星),谈谈他们以前和现在的变化(通过这项活动,使学生学会谈论他人以前和现在的变化)。
