(一)、被动语态的用法：当我们不知道谁是、或者没有必要指出谁是动作的执行者、或者只需强调动作的承受者。 Rice is grown in the south of China.
(二)、什么是主语？主语是动作行为的执行者。什么是宾语？宾语是动作行为的承受者。 His mother hit him . He was hit by his mother 主语 谓语 宾语 主语 谓语 宾语可见，无论是动作行为的执行者还是动作行为的承受者都可做主语。如果句子的主语是动作行为的执行者。叫主动语态。如果句子的主语是动作行为的承受者。叫被动语态
（三）、被动语态的总构成：主语 + be + V 过去分词 (done)+ 其他 。
be是助词，帮助形成被动语态。be要随着时态的变化而变化,变否定句时在be之后加not,变疑问句时把be移到句首。过去分词不变。
各种时态的被动语态构成：一般现在时：am/is/are +done The room is cleaned every day.
一般过去时：was/were +done The room was cleaned yesterday.
现在进行时：am/is/are +being +done The room is being cleaned now.
过去进行时：was/were +being +done The room was being cleaned at this time yesterday.
一般将来时：will be +done The room will be cleaned soon.
过去将来时：would be +done He said the room would be cleaned.
现在完成时：have/has been +done The room has been cleaned for two hours.
过去完成时：had been +done She said the room had been cleaned.
含有情态动词的被动语态 情态动词(can, may, must, should)+be +done The room may be cleaned by Tom.
注意：主语+被动形式的短语动词，在这种结构中，短语动词是一个整体，不能丢掉动词后面的介词或副词。如My sister is taken care of by my grandma. 我妹妹由奶奶照看。
如：本单元学习一般过去时态的被动语态。Be 的形式是：was，were .
一般过去时态的被动语态：
肯 主语 + was / were + V 过去分词 + 其他
否 主语 + was / were + not + V 过去分词 + 其他
疑 Was / Were + 主语 + V 过去分词 + 其他
肯: The telephone was invented in 1876.
否: The telephone was not invented in 1875.
疑: Was the telephone invented in 1875 No, it wasn’t. It was invented in 1876. When was the telephone invented
