Unit 3
单元综述:
本单元分四个课时进行教学。
第一课时教学目标为识记和理解下列词汇:we, classmate, twelve, too, polite, helpful
掌握运用下列句型: Are we/you classmates
第二课时教学目标为识记和理解下列词汇: big, strong, small
掌握运用下列句型: Am I happy
第三课时教学目标为识记和理解下列词汇: have, two new friends
掌握运用下列句型: I have a friend.
第四课时教学目标为: 熟练运用一般疑问句及其回答;复习本单元内容。
本单元教学重点和难点为一般疑问句及其回答。
The First Period: Welcome to the unit
Aims and demands:
1. Learn some new words: we, classmate, twelve, too, polite, and, helpful
2. Learn drills:
(1)We are…….
(2)Are we/you…….
(3)How old are you
Difficulties and emphasis:
Are we/you…….

Teaching aids : cards, recorder, small blackboard
Procedure:
I. Greetings.
II. Free talk:
1. T: Good morning/ Good afternoon. S: Good morning/Good afternoon.
2. T: Hello/Hi. How are you
S: I’m fine, thank you. And you
T: I’m fine too.
3. T: You’re Li Ming, right
S: Yes, I am. /No, I’m Li Lei.
III. Presentation(1)
1. 向学生们介绍自己
I am Miss Li. I am thirty.
2. 拿出一张小男孩子的卡片,并且告诉学生:
He is Li Ming. He is twelve.
帮助学生读熟twelve.
3. 问学生:
How old are you
帮助学生回答:
I’m twelve/thirteen/fourteen.
IV. Practice(1)
1. 让学生互问互答:
How old are you I’m twelve/thirteen/fourteen.
2.边呈现边在黑板上写出:How old are you I’m twelve/thirteen/fourteen.
V. Presentation(2).
1. 指门牌对学生说:
You are in Class 12, Grade 1.
You are classmates.
立即问学生: Are you classmates
帮助学生回答: Yes, we are. 教学生读熟,并记上。
老师指她自己与一个学生,问: Are we classmates
帮学生答: No, we aren’t. 教学生读熟,并记上。
边呈现边板书: Are you classmates
Yes, we are.

2.熟练一般疑问句句型:

Procedure:

1.Read.
2.Explain.
(1).先教几个关于人或事物特征的词,即形容词.
big small; tall short; strong thin; happy sad; slim, pretty
两组反义词可一起教,便于学生记忆.
可让两学生站起来.在句子中教记单词.
He is big. She is small.
He is big and strong.
I’m tall. You’re short.
(2).教学boy, girl 同时举例
(3). Li Ming is a boy. Li Hong is a girl.
III. Presentation:
老师指着班里的一男孩问
Are you a boy  答: Yes, I am.
Are you a girl     No, I’m not.

让学生看着图并帮学生回答.

V. Practice
让学生用学过的一般疑问句及其肯、否回答进行两两操练.设置一定的情景,让一个学生做出happy、sad等神态并问另一学生,另一学生根据真实情况作出相应的回答.

III. Learn new words:
1. 先学形容词 new 教师可用手里的书,告诉学生a new book并举出其反义词old,如an old book.
2. 教学名词 friend时,可指班级里的学生,并对学生说:
Li Hong is your friend.
3 教学have时,告诉学生:
I have a book. You have a box.
并可举出他/她/它有…用has.
IV. 教学 English、American 同时,要求学生掌握England、America
She is English.=She is from England.
He is American.=He is from America.

V. Turn to Reading.
教学这一段内容时,可利用先分散后集中的教学方法,教师可先介绍Sammi的情况,并在黑板上写出 Key words,再让学生用自己的话把Key words联成完整的句子.

再用类似的方法教学Pat的内容.
Pat, boy, twelve, tall and strong , from America
教师再把两段内容联成一篇短文,并引导学生用黑板上的关键词复述出短文内容,先集体再个别.

复数人称全用are

这一段内容含有人称代词及be动词的用法填空,教师在填写与讲解过程中,要求学生看着图看清男孩(he)女孩(she)以及单数还是复数(they),并谨慎用好be动词的单复数.
IV. Task.
这一段内容不仅要求学生按照表格所给的内容填写好,还要让学生理解并熟识整段内容,可以采用整体教学方法教学这段内容,教师可在黑板上列出四个新朋友的名字,然后在黑板上分别写出描述四个朋友特征的关键词.
