Step 1 导入
1. 教师通过询问学生的周末情况来引出所要学习的内容。教师问:What do you usually do at weekends Do you like watching TV What TV programmes do you like watching
2. 教师把学生所提到的电视节目写在黑板上。
Step 2 呈现和活动
1. 教师对学生说:I like watching TV as well. And I like many TV programmes. Do you want to know what they are 教师放映幻灯片,把不同的电视节目通过图片展示给学生,要求学生说出相应名称。
2. 将学生分成小组,组内就每个学生各自喜欢的电视节目进行询问和讨论,鼓励学生运用以下句型:What’s your favourite TV programme

3.鼓励学生独立完成课本第63页A部分的练习。全班核对答案。
4.教师:How many hours do you spend watching TV every day We call the people who spend too much time watching TV “couch potato”. Do you think Eddie is a couch potato Let’s see what Eddie’s lifestyle is like.
5.播放录音之前,让学生思考以下问题:Will Eddie go shopping with Hobo What’s Eddie’s plan for today 让学生带着问题听录音。

Step 1 呈现
1. 教师呈现各种电视节目的图片,并询问几个学生:What TV programme do you like best Why 根据学生回答的情况,点击几张不同的图片(有链接)。如果学生没有提到某个电视节目,那么教师就以自身为例,介绍这个节目并导出一些单词。
2. 新闻节目。教师:I like watching news report because I can get a lot of up-to-date information. Sometimes I don’t have enough time, so I just listen to a weekly round-up of what is happening in the world.
3. 体育节目。教师:Some of you like to watch sports. So I don’t think you want to miss some important games, for example, Asian Games and Olympic Games. We are so lucky to watch the 29th Olympic Games this year. Because it was held in summer, we could watch the games which were covered live. I believe everyone was deeply moved by the opening ceremony. It’s reported that more than 60 thousand people attended it. The Olympic Games cover all kinds of games. And after each game, we can watch a presentation. At the presentation, the results of the game are announced and the medals are presented to the winners.
4. 电影。教师:Many people like movies. And some Chinese movies won awards in the world for their stories, directors, music, etc. For example, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon directed by Li An won an Oscar for its wonderful photography.

Step 1 呈现
1.教师用多媒体向学生呈现第一张幻灯片并说:Today we are lucky enough to choose any TV channel we like to watch TV programmes. Which channel do you want to watch first 教师根据学生的要求点击不同的频道,呈现不同的电视节目,有:cartoon, comedy, game show, chat show, documentary, drama series。
2.要求学生熟记这些节目类型,并根据所看到的图片用自己的话描述这些电视节目。(每张节目的幻灯片上,节目的英文表达都建立了链接,以便回到最初的幻灯片)
Step 2 练习
1. 教师呈现A部分的图片。告诉学生这些图片分别代表不同的电视节目类型。要求学生独立完成这一部分的练习。
2. 让学生两人一组比较答案,结束后全班核对答案。
3. 教师提问:What types of TV programmes do you like or dislike Why 请几位学生谈谈。
4. 教师说:Sandy and her friends are talking about different types of TV plete their dialogue using the words in Part A.让学生独立完成该练习。
5. 请六位学生分角色朗读该对话并校对答案。
Step 3 活动
1.四人小组编对话,谈论各自对电视节目类型的喜好。鼓励他们使用以下句型:

2.教师告诉学生我们可以用between…and…来表示一段时间。
3.教师呈现一张中央9套的电视节目时刻表,根据这张表提以下问题,引导学生用between…and…来回答。When can we watch Around China/ China Today/ Culture Express
4.告诉学生我们也可以用from…to…来回答刚才的问题。并请几个学生做示范。
5.要求学生完成书上的练习,并校对答案。
6.指出between…and…和from…to…的区别。between…and…表示“在…和…之间”,与之搭配的动词也可以表示只发生一次。比如,I will visit you between this Monday and Friday.而from…to…是表示“从…到…”,与之搭配的动词表示一直持续发生。

1. 教师带领学生复习Reading部分的内容,从中抽取相关的句子板书。
(1) Some of the most famous stars will be interviewed about their recent work before the awards start.
(2) You will not find out the answer until the end of the film.
(3) After you watch this programme, you will realize how much danger these tigers face.
2. 向学生解释,我们可以用before, after和until来表示时间,来谈论事情发生的先后顺序。这三个词可以作介词,也可以作连词后面跟时间状语从句。

Step 1 呈现
1.教师说:Do you still remember there is a competition held by a TV station, which wants ideas for a new TV programme Millie has entered it and Daniel and Simon also want to enter it. They are writing their story. Let’s take a look.
2.教师呈现三副故事图片,鼓励学生说出自己认为的故事情节。
3.教师给出故事的背景,请一位同学朗读。
4.教师为了让学生意识到在写故事之前应该先有一个大概的框架,让学生根据故事的背景和主要内容,回答以下问题:

5.教师在学生回答问题的同时,在黑板上列出写故事框架的主要方面。如:place, character list (number of characters, characters), personalities of characters等。
Step 2 练习
1.要求学生完成第72页A2部分,并请一位同学朗读校对答案。
2.把学生分成四人小组,让他们自由讨论这个故事会如何发展。讨论完后,请几名小组代表说出他们的构思,看哪个组的构思最吸引人。
Step 3 写作
1.教师说:I decide to hold a competition as well and I hope every one of you can take part in it. Do you want to enter this competition Before writing your own story, what can you do 引导学生说出在写作之前要构思的想法。
2.教师鼓励学生在写作之前,可以先写writing plan(第78页),如果学生对书上的这个表上的东西有疑问,教师随时解答。
3.根据自己的计划,参照第77页A1部分,让学生写出自己故事的大纲。写完以后,请几位学生说一说自己的故事。
