第二课时（2nd PERIOD）
一、主要新授内容(new contents)
Look and learn---tail, rabbit, play with, ball
Look and say--- My ears are……My tail is ….
二、学习目标(Objectives)
1.联系学生生活实际，可以从家谱和卡通动物入手，在描述家人和动物的特征的过程中，学会用正确的语音语调说出tail, rabbit, play with, ball。
2.能用My ears are……My tail is ….来描述外貌特征。
3.通过介绍特征，运用所学的知识，并且通过活动本身培养学生的观察能力。
三、教学建议
1.任务前期准备阶段（Pre-task preparation section）
Pre-task Preparation是指我们要求学生运用目的语（即所学的语言）之前，呈现给学生的新语言材料。也就是我们常说的：Input。在这个环节主要让学生在情景中获得对新语言材料的第一次感知。

1 Quick response Show some people and their names.Answer quickly: Who’s he/she 通过快速应答，活跃思维，尽快进入学习的氛围，也为新授埋下伏笔。
2 Review the words Read a poem. According to the poem, match the people. Rearrange the family tree.. 根据诗歌判断人物的身份，比较新颖。

1 Ask and answer. Guessing game. Show a box. What’s in the box Ss ask several questions to identify the object. 通过猜的游戏激发学生学习的兴趣 。
2 Review the adjectives. A toy cat is in the box. Let students describe the toy cat. 把学生喜爱的形象和学习有机的结合，可以大大提高学生说话的欲望。
2．任务中期实施阶段（While-task procedure section）
While-task Procedure，这是指语言技能的习得过程。其中分为机械性操练和意义性操练两部分。机械性操练可以让学生准确地模仿、复说新授的语言，让他们经过从模仿到识记的过程，使新知识由感知、理解、模仿直到储存。由于本教时新授内容有词汇也有句子而且都在两个以上，在这个教学阶段也可以设计新授知识的二次或多次导入，并根据语言训练的需要设计相应的机械性操练和意义性操练。意义性操练是介于机械性操练和交际性操练之间，起着承上启下的作用，把语言形式的操练转向语言内容的操练，使学生的认知逐步从知识外部特征转向知识内在的联系。

1 Free choice. Choose one people from the family tree. Perform this people. 把选择权给学生，培养学生的自主能力。
2 New Pattern: My ____ are/is ______. Explain why you choose this people to act. (because my ears are big. My nose is small.) 解释选择的原因，在活跃思维的同时也操练了新授句型。

1 Find the similarities. 老师假扮cat: What am I similar to the toy cat 教师的参与可以极大的激发学生的参与热情。
2 New pattern. Some similarities: Your ears are long, your tail is short, too…. 通过比较，让学生学会观察和形容。
机械操练部分是整个教学过程中不可或缺的一部分。它为学生的学习奠定了扎实的基础。

1 Practice the adjective and the countable & uncountable nouns. 出现family tree中的人物的特写和相关名词和形容词。学生比赛纠错。齐读正确答案。 复习人体部位和相关形容词，为句型教学打下基础。
2 New pattern.My___ is/are___. Students read the correct pattern together. 作为重要的句型学习，需要一定量的机械操练。让学生能顺利过渡到意义操练。

1 New words: tail 用音量来练习tail.Discuss which animal has a tail. 开放式的问题提高了学生的兴趣度和参与度。同时也操练了新单词。
2 New pattern: I am a ___. My__ is/are__. 出现各种卡通动物等形象,先个别生说,然后再一齐朗读. 卡通形象深受学生的喜爱，在机械操练中增加了不少的趣味。

1 Who is he/she Show the fish’s family, the bird’s family, the insect’s family, the vehicle’s family….. 发散学生的想象和思维。
2 New pattern. Invite some Ss to be parents. The other Ss compete to be the children. (Must explain the reasons.) 竞争上岗，阐述理由，可以让学生更灵活的运用新知和旧识。

1 New word: tail Find the mistakes. The ____ has a ____ tail. The ____ has ___s. 找茬游戏既让学生巩固了单词，又让学生的兴趣调动起来。
2 New pattern. Look at yourself, on your body, which part do you like Why (use the new pattern.) 说说身体哪个部分最满意，让学生更好的认识自己。
3．任务后期完成阶段（Post-task activity section）
Post-task Activity，这是指经过机械性操练和意义性操练，引导学生运用他们所获得的知识与技能来完成一个交际性的任务“task”，也就是语言的输出：output。学生通过前两个阶段的学习，在知识和能力上已具备综合新旧知识进行交际的能力，教师可以根据学生的实际水平设计或选用提供的活动，使学生在相应的尽可能贴近生活的语境中，正确有效使用习得语言，完成交际性的任务。
