一、主要新授内容(new contents)

二、学习目标(Objectives)
1．以故事小蝌蚪找妈妈和“小小侦探”巧分辨等情节穿插进行细节特征的描述。
2．能用Are you my… 询问人物的身份，并能用My ears are…, My tail is…. 正确描述外貌细节特征，分辨并回答人物身份。在学习过程中培养学生的观察能力和表达能力。
3． 学习5个字母和相关单词，掌握这些辅音字母在单词中的正确发音。
三、教学建议
1．任务前期准备阶段（Pre-task preparation section）
Pre-task Preparation是指我们要求学生运用目的语（即所学的语言）之前，呈现给学生的新语言材料。也就是我们常说的：Input。在这个环节主要让学生在情景中获得对新语言材料的第一次感知。

1 An alphabet game Show the alphabet balloons several seconds. Quick response. 将字母的复习和趣味游戏结合起来，有效调动了学生的学习积极性。
2 A match. Show the alphabet balloons.Ss devided into 2 parts. Use the pattern: A is for apple.to compete. 利用单词积累比赛加强学生的思维活跃性，同时也为新授打下伏笔。
2．任务中期实施阶段（While-task procedure section）
While-task Procedure，这是指语言技能的习得过程。其中分为机械性操练和意义性操练两部分。机械性操练可以让学生准确地模仿、复说新授的语言，让他们经过从模仿到识记的过程，使新知识由感知、理解、模仿直到储存。由于本教时新授内容有词汇也有句子而且都在两个以上，在这个教学阶段也可以设计新授知识的二次或多次导入，并根据语言训练的需要设计相应的机械性操练和意义性操练。意义性操练是介于机械性操练和交际性操练之间，起着承上启下的作用，把语言形式的操练转向语言内容的操练，使学生的认知逐步从知识外部特征转向知识内在的联系。

1 Which pet do you want Discuss the topic. 用宠物的话题引导学生进行讨论，培养学生的爱心。
2 Why Explain the reason: I like his/her/its long tail….. 各抒己见的方法可以让学生思维活跃，课堂氛围轻松。

1 How is the tadpole Show a tadpole. Discuss how is the tadpole 通过一个学生熟悉的蝌蚪形象，让学生有描述的欲望和可描述的内容。
2 Where’s his mother Guess where’s his mother 激发学生想象力，延伸课堂的外延。
机械操练部分是整个教学过程中不可或缺的一部分。它为学生的学习奠定了扎实的基础。

1 Look for a suitable pet. 给男孩纸，上面有需要的宠物特征，女孩是宠物，给她们对自己特征的描述的片段。 组织一个交互的游戏，在游戏中，学会如何倾听交流。
2 Dialogue 让生自己去询问配对：S1: I want a cat. It has s long tail….S2: I’m a cat. My tail is long…. 配对的对话让学生充满表达的兴趣。

1 Who’s the tadpole’s mother Show several mothers. If you are the tadpole, canYou distinguish your mother 动脑筋来区分蝌蚪的妈妈，找出不同之处。
2 Discuss and act out. 母亲们说相同之处：My eyes are big….小蝌蚪说不同之处：My head is big. Your head is small…. 利用一点小小的debate的形式，让操练更加富有童趣。

1 Learn the new words. Use the pattern: V is for van….to elicit the new words.Mime animals’ voices to read the words. Distinguish the pronunciation of the letters in the words. 模仿可以使学习寓教于乐，激发学生的兴趣，符合学生的生理特征。对于单词中字母发音的区分，为学生的发音归类打下良好的基础。
2 Make a new sentence. Use the five new words: van window x-ray yellow zebra to make sentences. 发散学生的思维，延伸文本内容。
3．任务后期完成阶段（Post-task activity section）
Post-task Activity，这是指经过机械性操练和意义性操练，引导学生运用他们所获得的知识与技能来完成一个交际性的任务“task”，也就是语言的输出：output。学生通过前两个阶段的学习，在知识和能力上已具备综合新旧知识进行交际的能力，教师可以根据学生的实际水平设计或选用提供的活动，使学生在相应的尽可能贴近生活的语境中，正确有效使用习得语言，完成交际性的任务。
