Presentation 1. Draw a big menu on the board. Divide the menu into sixparts: Meat and fish, Vegetables, Rice and noodles, FruitDesserts and Drinks.2. Look at the slide of the whole menu for two minutes.3. Invite individual students to come to the board and draw a food item in the menu. Encourage the more able students to write the words.4. Look at the menu and answer What do you like What don’t you like 5. Listen to the recording and answer questions What does Mr Li like What doesn’t Mr Li like What does Mrs Li like What doesn’t Mrs Li like What does Ben like What doesn’t Ben like What does Kitty like What doesn’t Kitty like Students work in pairs to practise reading the dialogues.Invite pairs of students to do the role-play.
Consolidation 1. Make a menu and make a dialogue.2. Invite the students to act out the dialogue.
