T: Hello, boys and girls! Nice to meet you! (Using gestures or in Chinese.)
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1. T: Hello, boys and girls. I am your English teacher. I am Miss Tang.
Today we’ll learn Unit one “Nice to meet you!”
Write Unit 1 Nice to meet you on the board.
2. Make dialog with some Ss. “ Hello, I’m Miss…”
Game ---Make friends
S1: Hello, I’m…
3. T: Hello, I’m Miss… Nice to meet you!
Help Ss: Nice to meet you too.
Listen and repeat.
Step 3 Practice
1. Little actor. Act Lingling or Peter or Anne or Mingming.
2. S: Hello, I’m… Nice to meet you!
3. Dragon game.
Step 4 Consolidation
1. Evaluation.
2. Do Ex.
