Lesson 13
教学目标：
能够听懂含有最高级用法的简单语段。
能够运用本单元所学的词汇和句型，在三者或三者以上之间进行比较。
教学重点：
1. 词汇：tallest, shortest, newest, oldest, longest, prettiest, ugliest, slowest, thickest, thinnest.
2. 句型：
1） Who is the prettiest Simone is the prettiest.
2） Whose book is the thickest My book is the thickest.
教学难点：
1. 形容词最高级的变化形式和对含有最高级的句子的理解。
2. 不同类别的形容词最高级的变化规律。
教学过程：
Get ready:
根据场景图，图中出现11个形容词的最高级形式，tallest, shortest, newest, oldest, longest, prettiest, ugliest, slowest, thickest,thinnest. 并引出句型：Who is the prettiest Simone is the prettiest. Whose book is the thickest My book is the thickest.
A listen and stick
借助get ready 主情境图，对学生进行听力练习，要求学生通过录音，在途中判断出几个玩具娃娃分别来自哪个国家，并把国家名称贴到相应的娃娃下。
B compare and say.
通过人和事物的比较让学生更深刻的了解比较级和最高级的用法。当学习到prettiest, ugliest, thinnest三个最高级形容词时，老师试着让学生猜出他们的原型，然后通过比较，让学生记住以上三个单词的特殊变化。
C discus and write
1. 反义词游戏来学习新单词和最高级的用法。
2. 造句练习，通过造句练习来让学生更熟练新学习的生词。
3. 问答活动 就C部分先进行小组内问答，然后全班进行。
4. 写作 通过问答以及讨论，让学生熟练地表达并写出来。
