Revision Review the classroom object by using “ What is it It’s a /the _____.”2. Dialogue: The First day of school
Presentation 1. Show a picture of our school. Look, what’s this It’s my school.2. show a picture of a boy and put it on the picture and tell a story like this.It was the first day of school. Tom was a new student. He was new here. He went into the school gate. When he looked at the playground, he said: “ Oh, so big.” But he could not find his classroom. And some students were kindly to show him the location of the classroom, the office ,the library, the hall and the toilet. Tom was very happy. Because he had many new friends.3. Play the cassette, introduce the following things: school, classroom, hall, toilet, office, playground, library, using the pictures. And ask students to repeat the new words4. (Play the cassette again.) Pair work: Point, ask and answer on page 255. Game: show a picture of a school, but many parts of the school are covered with white paper. Encourage the students to guess what’s under the paper by using “Is this the ____ ” If they are right ,just remove the paper.

Teaching Aims:

2) Using imperatives to give instructions
3) Asking Wh-questions to find out about a specific thing
2. 能力目标:1) Open an interaction by eliciting a response
2) Maintain an interaction by providing information
3) Maintain an interaction by using formulaic expressions to acknowledge, agree or disagree
3. 情感目标:通过问答加深对学校的了解,通过学习课堂用语做到整齐划一

And now two pencils, pencils.5. Say after the teacher and under stand the plural forms of the nouns6. Practice the pictures on page 277. Play a game: Lay out all the word cards and pictures on the desk(face down) One turns over the picture, while the other turns over the word card. When a match is obtain, one should say :“Good”.
