Unit 4 I have a Pen Pal (第一课时)
一、教学目标:
1.能听、说、认读句子:what is your hobby I like collecting stamps.2.能听、说、读 、写动词短语的ing形式:collecting stamps ,riding a bike, diving,playing the violin, making kites.
二、教学重点、难点:
1.本课时的重点是掌握五个动词(短语)的ing形式。2.本课时的难点是拼写:riding,diving,making.
三、课前准备:
录音带、单词卡片(本课及五年级下册第五单元的有关单词卡)

1.情景引入:(1)Greeting and free talk :(2)Warm up:播放五年级下同Recycle2的歌曲“I love going hiking”,学生跟唱。(3)师生对话引入新课:师: I like playing football. I like watching TV. I like swimming. What about you What is your hobby (学生可能提出疑问:hobby是什么意思?其它学生或教师给予解答)师指名回答What is your hobby 2.新知呈现(1)教师出示制作风筝的图片:T: What is he doing 师领生答:He is making kites. (板书making kites,领读、拼读、指名读等多种形式练读)(2) 教师出示骑自行车的图片: T:what is Mike’s hobby 师领生答:He likes riding a bike.(强调likes,板书“riding a bike”同上方法练习)(3)教师边做拉小提琴的动作边问:Who can tell me What am I doing 学生用汉语猜测。教师回答: Yes, I am playing the violin.板书短语并练习。 (4)利用邮票的实物师引出:I like collecting stamps.练习方法同上。(5)利用图片教学跳水的动作同上。(6)小组内利用做好本课的卡片练习: What is your hobby I like…..(7)多种方式整体练读单词:a. Read after the teacher.b. Read together.c. Read in groups.d. Read by yourself.e. Ask someone to read.(8)Listen to the tape and read after it.3.质疑答疑:生可能质疑问题集邮的读音;教师预设的问题:观察并总结出本课短语内动词变现在分词的规律。4.专项训练: 做一个做动作猜词的游戏。5.拓展性活动(Group work) 注意讲解第三人称单数时“like”的变化。6.当堂检测:(1)连线collecting stamps 拉小提琴riding a bike 跳水diving 做风筝playing the violin 骑自行车making kites. 集邮(2)连词成句:is, your, what , hobby _______________________ playing, I , the, like, violin. _________________ .7.课堂小结:利用板书总结本课所学内容;作业布置:完成“let’s start 部分的表格填写”。
