Teach aims and demands
1. Learn to talk about one’s likes and dislikes and ask others’ likes or dislikes.
2. Learn this new sentence: I like ____. I don’t like ______. What do you like
3. Learn some new words: biscuits, noodles, bread, milk, rice, hamburger, dumplings, cake.
4. Learn the pronunciation of the letters “dr”.

Warmer
1. Greetings between the teacher and the students.
2. Play a game among groups.
A group act as an animal, such as a beautiful bird, a big elephant, a strong tiger, a tall giraffe, a small squirrel, a at pig.
Another group of students to guess what do they act.
3. Play another game, quick response.
Revise some words of food, hamburger, fried rice, pizza, jam.
Presentation
1. The teacher act as a cooker.
T: Now, boys and girls. Can you guess what I am
Ss: You are a cooker.
T: Yes, I am a cooker.
What time is it now
Oh, it’s 11 o’clock. It’s too late.
I am hungry now.
Are you hungry too
2. Teacher show food cards, choose one of them.
T: What will you do when hungry
Right. Eat something. What do you like
I like cake.
I don’t like rice.
T: What do you like
S1: I like hamburger/ French fried/ rice/ cake…
T: What don’t you like
S2: I don’t like milk/ fruit.
3. Listen to the tape of Part A, then repeat. And read after the tape recorder.
4. Practice the dialogue by themselves in pairs, then act the dialogue in the class.
5. Ask the students to tell their likes and dislikes, use this sentence: I like ____. I don’t like ____.
6. Ask the students to ask their classmates and friends what they like or don’t like. Then finish this questionnaire.

Consolidation
1. Play a game. The teacher show the word cards, and ask the students to read it, then teacher turn the card back, let the students guess what it is.
2. Do the exercises.
Period 2
Warm:
1. Greetings between the teacher and the students.
2. Have a match between the boys and girls. Use the sentences:

I like/ don’t like ______.
3. Revise the words learned in the last lesson.
Presentation
1. The teacher show a picture of my restaurant.
T: Look, this is my restaurant.
There are many foods in it.
Do you want to eat something

Do you like them
The teacher show the word cards: noodles, dumplings, biscuits, rice, cake, bread, milk, jam.
2. This time the teacher show the food cards, let the students choose, use the sentences: I like ____. I don’t like ____.
3. Let the students draw the food you like best and tell the class, such as:
S1: I like bread.
S2: I like milk.
4. Let the students look at the pictures by themselves, then listen to the tape. And answer the questions, tick or cross.
A: Dino is happy today.
B: Dino likes rice.
C: Dino likes biscuits.
D: Tim likes biscuits.
5. Listen to the tape and read after the tape, and ask the students to translate in into Chinese sentence by sentence.
6. Act the dialogue.
Consolidation
1. The teacher show the word cards of Part E.

2. Let’s have fun.
