第二课时
一、教学说明
1． 通过第一课时的学习，学生能用This is an /a…... That’s a/an…… 等句子来表达。并能描述所学水果的颜色、特征。
1． 通过了解发现班中有20名同学课外在跟外籍教师学英语， 有一定的口语基础，因此学生听说能力差异较为明显。
二、教学内容
1．认知内容:
1) 学会用peach, melon, strawberry, watermelon等单词来表述单词。
2) 能够辨认所学单词，并能把图片和单词进行配对。
3) 能用 What is this It is a/an……进行问答。
2．能力要求：
能描述所学水果的颜色、特征。
3．情感态度：
能表达自己喜欢吃什么水果
三、教学步骤

2.While-task procedure 1.Introduction new word: peach (Multi-media)Watch the slide. To elicit the new word: peach 玩偶运用多媒体技术导入新课，设计猴子摘桃子的情景，引出单词peach,多媒体显示的形象，生动的画面，深深地吸引了学生的注意力，大大增加了学生的学习兴趣。
2.Imitation peach Ask children to follow the new word and repeat.Read the word card.Ask pupils to describe the peach.4. Count the peaches. 学生通过机械模仿熟悉新单词。在跟读之后，出示单词，进行认读。通过描述桃子的颜色和特征，引出拓展词汇pink, 增加了词汇量。
3．Learn the new word:strawberry T: Guess. What fruit do I like to eat To elicit the word: strawberry 通过猜谜游戏，猜猜老师喜欢吃什么水果，引出单词strawberry,从而激发学生的学习欲望，充分调动学生的学习积极性 。

6．Learn the new word: melon (Multi-media)1.Watch the slide and guess: What is it S: Guess. 通过使用多媒体猜物，引出新单词。方法是先让 学生看四分之一的瓜的轮廓线，让学生猜，再给学生显示四分之二的轮廓线，让学生猜，接着再显示四分之三的轮廓线，分三次点击，最后出现完整的瓜的图形。学生通过猜谜 ，视觉不断地受到刺激 ，始终 处于好奇状态之中 ，激发了学生 求知欲。
7. Imitation melon 1.Students follow and repeat.2.Ask pupils to describe the melon. 通过描述哈密瓜,引出拓展词汇oval,并复习巩固词汇sweet, juice.

Game 1.Listen to the rhyme.Make new rhymes using ‘peach’, ‘strawberry’, ‘melon’ and ‘watermelon’.Encourage students to act outrhymes in pairs by using the new words. Read the word cards.(Multi-media)5. Playing a watching game. 通过编儿歌和表演儿歌，学生的创造能力和合作精神都得到提高，同时也为学生提供了充分展示自己才华的机会。运用多媒体进行图片和单词的配对游戏，在活动中不仅使学生复习了颜色、数字，同时也复习了单词、句子。巩固操练了新旧知识，也进一步强化了语言训练。

四、教学提示
1. 媒体准备：
单词卡片，图片，水果，草莓气球玩具，录音机，多媒体
2. 教学关注点：
1）本课新学单词melon 和第一教时所学单词lemon字形容易混淆，需加强认读和辨认。注意形近字的区别。
2）注意纠正学生对单词peach, strawberry的发音。
3）注意让学生在一定的情景中学习，使用句子What is this It is a/an……
4）注意整体认读单词：peach, melon, strawberry, watermelon.
3.资源分享：
九年制义务教育五年级有一首歌曲,可让学生欣赏，让学生在歌声中体会每天吃水果的益处。
4.设计思路：
1）精心设计丰富多彩的游戏活动，让学生在摸一摸，猜一猜，尝一尝的游戏活动中来习得语言。让学生在玩一玩，动一动的过程中学习知识。
2）运用多媒体辅助教学，如用多媒体导入新课，多媒体猜物，用多媒体进行单词和图片的配对等，复习巩固所学内容，激发学生的学习兴趣，优化课堂教学效果。
3）创设英语氛围，面向各种层次的学生，既为中等学生提供说的机会，又为有余力的学生补充大量信息，以趣味性、交际化贯穿该课始终。
5.教学反思：
本教时补充单词不是很多，如有条件的话，学生接受能力强的 ，可再补充一些平时经常吃的水果，如：猕猴桃kiwi fruit, 柿子persimmon，甘蔗sugar cane等，扩大学生的词汇量。
