Period 1

一、Organization.

1、Sing the song. Numbers song.

2、Greetings.

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss Luo.

T: How are you

Ss: Fine, thank you. And you

T: I’m fine, too. Thank you.

3、 Play a guessing game.

How many apples

Two/Three/Four.

二、Presentation.

1、Sing the song. Take out a birthday cake.

Happy birthday.

Ann: It’s ken’s birthday. ( Point to the poster)

Happy birthday.

2、Listen and say.

T: What’s this

T: It’s a cake./a birthday cake.

T: How old are you

S1: I’m six.

T: How old are you

S2: I’m seven / eight.

T: How many fingers

S3: Ten. How many cards

Ss: Nine.

3、Practice.

4、Ask and answer.

T: What can you see
S: Ken, Ann, Mocky, boy, girl, chair, cake.

T: What color can you see

S: Red, blue/green…

T: How many cakes /strawberries/ gifts / balloons are there

S: One cake/seven strawberries/Eight gifts/ten balloons.

5.Open your books. Listen to the story.

6.Extension.

Have the children work in pairs, taking turns to hold up a number of finger puppets and say how many there are.

7.Summary.

运用一个生日蛋糕创设情景,开生日会,唱生日歌,学习新单词cake,candle等和操练句型How old are you 学生会回答,但任指一个数词给学生读,有些学生不够流利读出来,有待强化训练。

2、Review numbers one through ten , boys, girls, chairs, books, monkeys, pencils.

1、Sing the song. Numbers song.

3、Warming up.

To practice number recognition, have children use their finger puppets or just their fingers.

Ss: It’s a tree.

1、 Listen and say. Look at the object and picture.

S: No, it isn’t. It’s a school.

T: It’s after school. Let’s go to the zoo.

S: OK.

T: Put on your hat.

2、Practice.

3、Listen and practice.

4、Repeat the procedure for word lollipop.
