Unit 6 Mid-Autumn Festival
The Second Period
一、教学说明:
1.学生已经会用 I like to eat___来表达自己的偏爱。
2.学生在第五课中已经接触过what开头的特殊疑问句。
3.学生已经收集了中秋节及其他传统节日的信息。
二、教学内容:
1.认知内容
1 单词taro,bean,moon ,mooncake达到“三会”要求。
1 能听懂并会用What do you like to eat 来提问。
1 知道中秋节是中国的传统节日,了解一些中秋节的习俗。
2.能力要求:
①学生能根据所学的句型在生活与学习情景中相互询问。
②能简单说出几个中国的传统节日。
3.情感态度:
通过对中国传统节日的初步了解,增进对祖国的热爱。
三、教学步骤:
ⅠProceduresPre-task Preparation Contents1.Warming-up Methods1.Listen and try to sing a song 《Moon ,moon》2.Greetings. e.g.: How are you 3.Listen and act. e.g.: Boys, look at your hands.Girls, wash your hands. Period.通过第一课的初步感知,要求学生学唱。
2.Revision Teacher shows some fruit and food. Ask students what do you like to eat e.g.: T: What do you like to eat P1: I like to eat apples. 教师提问一句,学生回答一句。在复习旧知识的同时,增加对新句型的听的输入。
Ⅱ、While-taskProcedure 4. Introductionmoon、mooncakebean、taro Ask students to sing the song again. Teacher holds up a picture of P28 and introduces Sam’s family. Then talk about Mid-Autumn Festival with students. Present the new words.e.g. Teacher points to the moon 在情景中引出单词。
On the picture and ask :What is it Students may say: moon.T: When is the moon the biggest and the brightest (Mid-Autumn Festival)T: Look at the picture, on Mid-Autumn Festival, what can Sam’s family eat (Eat mooncakes, beans,taros.)T: On Mid-Autumn Festival , what can they do (Look at the moon and play with lanterns.)T: Do you know other information about this festival 交流信息的过程,也是加大语言输入量的一个方法。在这个环节中,学生的词汇毕竟有限,可用中文回答教师帮助翻译。
Imitation moon, bean, taro, mooncake Show the word cards and read.Listen and read after the tape.Match the pictures and words.Quick response. 通过快速反应游戏使学生对单词迅速掌握。
1. IntroductionWhat do you like to eat Teacher uses a guessing game to pressed the new sentence.e.g.: T: In these food and fruit ,do you know what do I like to eat Encourage the students to ask: what do you like to eat 这个环节与上一个复习环节紧扣,在学生听了无数遍新句型之后,让学生尝试输出,这对认真听讲的学生是一种肯定。
2.Imitation What do you like to eat Ask students to read the sentence.Listen to the tape and repeat.
ConsolidationWhat do you like to eat I like to eat__ Ask students to work in pairs or in little group.e.g.:P1: What do you like to eat P2: I like to eat cakes. 必须课前给学生分好小组。
Ⅲ.Post-task Activity 1.Make a new dialogue .2.Introduce other festivals in China. Teacher Invites students to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with Sam’s family. Ask students to make a new dialogue .e.g.: P1: What’s this P2: It’s a lemon.P1: what do you like to eat P2: I like to eat lemons.Ask students to communicate the information about other festival.e.g. S1:I know The Lantern Festival.T: On the lantern festival, what do you like to eat 鼓励学生把已有的知识尽量用进去,教师可做适当提示。扩大知识范围的同时,体验分享信息的快乐。

Ⅳ.Assignment Listen to the tape and repeat.Read the new words.Introduce Mid-Autumn Festival with their family.
四、教学提示:
1.媒体准备
若干水果、食物、教学图片、录音机等。
2.教学关注点:
a.关注学生收集信息的能力,学生收集信息的途径、方法。
b.关注节日背景的介绍、有助于学生的理解与记忆。
c.输入量大、输出量小是一年级小学生的特点,所以课堂上关注语言信息的大量输入。

五、教学思路:
⑴每个句型都有一定量的听力输入,让学生有初步感知之后,再学习句型,有利于降低难度。
⑵中国特有的民族文化渗透,让学生初步了解中国文化的丰富多彩。
