MODULE 5 Time Unit 14 Time for school(教学设计)
一、教学内容分析
UNIT 14 Time for School.主要谈论作息时间的安排。词汇及课文内容都很贴近学生的生活实际,也是学生感兴趣的话题。
二、教学对象分析
经过前段时间的学习,学生的口头表达能力有了一定的基础,而且逐渐养成了互相合作学习、完成活动任务的习惯。另外,学生对数学单词比较熟悉,有利于对时间表达的学习。但学生的年纪毕竟较小,他们还是以无意注意为主,喜欢唱歌、游戏、比赛、小组合作等形式多样、有趣的课堂活动。因此,在教学中要多花心思设计能吸引学生学习兴趣又能从中学到知识的有意义活动,让学生能积极主动参与学习,让他们在乐中学,学中乐,培养英语学习的兴趣和自信心。
三、教学目标:
(一) 知识目标:
1.学会本课单词与短语get up,clock ,It’s time to… go to school ,too late ,bread ,milk ,egg, must ,goodbye, go back ,go to bed。
2.复习时间表示法。
3.理解与正确运用本课句型:
①What time is it It’s eight forty.
②It’s time to go to school.
4.初步理解对话,学会朗读对话,通过学习知道中西方学生作息时间的差异。
(二)能力目标:How do we arrange our times.
(三)情感目标:教育学生学会合理安排自己的时间,培养学生良好的作息习惯。
四、教学重点:学生运用学过的句型去谈论一天的时间安排。
五、教学难点:①理解与运用本课的单词短语与句型。
②能运用学过的句型去谈论一天的时间安排。
六、教学媒体:①多媒体课件②自制表格③图片
七、教学过程:
一)Leading-in
1.Review the times
出示有关时间的课件,复习时间表示法。
2.出示What time 的课件(猜-猜)What time do you have breakfast/lunch/dinner/have English
T: Do you want to know how I arrange my time You can ask me by the sentence: What time do you have breakfast And then guess by the sentences: You have breakfast at 8:00…
二)Pre-task
1. 引入:
T:Just now you know how do I arrange my time. And now can you tell me how do you arrange your time (刚才同学们了解到老师的时间安排,那么同学们能否告诉老师你们的时间安排呢?怎样用英语去说出自己的时间安排呢)?那么这就是我们今天的任务:How do we arrange our times
(学会用英语合理地安排好自己的时间)
2.出示有关时间的课件,把时间调到8:40问:
T:Look at the clock, what time is it
(板书学习clock, what time is it )
T: Do you know (如果学生不会回答则引导学生向老师发问:S:What time is it 老师作出回答T:It’s eight forty.)
3.用有关时间的课件操练句型。A:What time is it B: It’s 9:00…
4.再把时间调到8:40,学习get up, It’s time to …
T: It’s eight forty. Is it time to get up (出示get up 的课件)
(板书学习get up, It’s time to…)
学生理解get up 后引导学生回答:S:No, it isn’t.
T:(出示go to school 的课件) Is it time to go to school
(板书学习go to school)
S: Yes, it is.
T: Yes, it’s time to go to school.
5.出示bread, milk, eggs的图片学习
T:It’s eight forty. Is it time to have breakfast Look, there’s bread, milk and eggs.
(板书学习bread, milk, eggs)
T: Look, they are so delicious. But it’s time to go to school. Do you have time for them I think it’s too late to have breakfast.
(板书学习too late)
6.It’s time to go to school. We have no time for breakfast, no time for bread, no time for milk, no time for eggs,. So poor. Because we must go to school now.
(板书学习must)
7. Listen and see how does Jean arrange her time.(播放课件,学生观看动画,思考)
T: Just now we talk about Jean’s time. Now let’s listen to a dialogue and tell me how does Jean arrange her time, and is she arrange very well (听课文对话看看Jean是怎样安排自己的时间的,她这样安排好不好?)
8.跟录音读对话,老师带读对话体会Jean的时间安排。
三、While-task.
1. Read the dialogue in pairs, try to act “Jean”
2.Ask one student to be Jean and say: How does she arrange her time.(Jean怎样安排时间)
T:What time is it
Jean: It’s eight forty.
T: Is it time to go to school
Jean: Yes, it is.
T: What time do you get up
Jean: At eight forty.
T: What time do you go to school
Jean: At eight forty.
T: What time do you have breakfast
Jean: I have no time.
3. 叫学生拿出事先准备好的表格向其他同学询问他们的时间安排。
(出示课件告诉学生用到的句型)
四)Post-task
学生展示刚才的调查结果,叫学生把对话表演出来。
A:What time is it now
B: It’s 9:00…
A: What time do you get up…
B: At 6:50…
五)Check
How do we arrange our time Compare these two box say which is good for us (出示课件Jiamin and Xiaoling 时间表)
六Homework
1. Copy the new words
2. Make a short dialogue according Unit 14.
