教学内容
1.Let's read,Read and number& Let's chant
2.本课时主要复习第六单元的内容,重点是种植植物的过程。可以按照阅读课的模式上,提高学生的阅读兴趣,注意培养学生正确的阅读方法和阅读技巧。
教学过程
1.Preparation准备活动
(1)Sing a song: “Little Corn'’
(2)教师出示本单元图卡、词卡复习词汇,也可用听写的方式复习词汇。
(3)教师出示各种植物图片,进行日常会话练习:
Is there a…
Are there any…
How do you plant a flower/tree
Where does the rain\... come from
师生会话交流中,教师适时引导学生回顾水循环和植物种植的过程。
(4) Let's chant(P85)
2.Pre-reading阅读前活动
(1)教师问:“How do you plant a flower 引导学生回答。教师继续问:“What do flowers need '’引导学生回答:“Water and sunlight.教师把学生提出的相关词语卡片贴在黑板上。
(2) 看图(词)造句
让学生试着把黑板上的词语连起来说一说种花的过程。
(3) 完成84页的Read and number:
①教师先和学生一起照图试说种玉米的过程;
②学生给对应的文字排序;
③小组内核对答案;
④学生再次照图叙说种植的过程。
3.In-reading阅读中活动
(1) 教师问:“How often do you water your flower Once a day or twice a day 引导学生回答。Once a day 和 twice a day学生不理解,师可给予汉语提示。
(2) 教师在黑板上画三盆不同的花,(当然用实物或课件展示更形象、直观),说:“Mike,Chen Jie and Sarah each plant a flower on the same day.Four weeks later, their plants are different. Today they have Science lesson. They take their plants to school. Guess which is Mike/Sarah/Chen Jie's flower.”学生快速浏览短文,让学生猜一猜三盆花的主人是谁,可小组讨论。
(3)学生默读短文,判断:
① The three plants are different. ( )
② Mike’s plant is tall and strong. ( )
③ Chen Jie waters the plant twice a day. She puts it in the sun every day. ( )
④ Sarsh’s plant is the best one. ( )
(4) 学生再次默读短文,小组内讨论回答:
① How many times does Mike water the plant What about Chen Jie and Sarsh
② What’s Mike’s plant like
③ Is Chen Jie’s plant tall and strong
④ Whose plant is the best one Why
(5) 教师结合上面第四小题的回答引出ways to help your plant grow,师生总结后让学生写下来。
①Put it in the sun.
②Water it once a day.
③Dig the soil every day.
(6)Listen to the tape and follow the tape.
(7)Read the passage aloud .
(8)让学生小组内试着说说Mike,Chen Jie和Sarsh分别是怎么对待自己的花的以及他们的花的特征。
4.Post-reading阅读后活动
(1) 完成84页的Read and number:
①教师先和学生一起照图试说种玉米的过程;
②学生给对应的文字排序;
③小组内核对答案;
④学生再次照图叙说种植的过程。
(2)给学生提供几篇植物生长日记,完成后面的练习题。
