Teach aims and demands
1. Learn to ask the thing’s owner.
2. Learn the new sentences: Whose is this It’s Peter’s.
3. Learn the new words: a bag, a badge, a scarf, a purse, some money.
4. Learn the pronunciation of the letter “fl”.

Warmer
1. Greetings between the teacher and the students.
2. Free talk. Act the dialogue of Unit 6 before class, and find out who is the best.
Presentation
1. Play a game. Show me your pen, pencil, bag, pencil-box, ruler, eraser, book, English books, Chinese books, etc.
2. The teacher collect some school things, toys in a box, then show them one by one, and ask them “Whose is this ”
T: Can you borrow me some pencil-boxes, pens, erasers and rulers Thanks, What is this
S1: It’s a pencil.
T: Right. It’s a pencil, Whose is this
I am sorry, I forget it.
Is this your pencil, S2
S2: No.
T: Is this your pencil, S3
S3: Yes.
T: Here you are.
It’s your pencil. It’s S3’s pencil.
3. The teacher show some person. ( Miss Gro, Lingling, Jane, Jake, Peter, Mingming, Anne.) And ask them Who is this
T: Who are they
Ss: They are ____.
T: Look! What are these
These are their things. Can you guess whose are they.
4. The teacher write the words on the blackboard, a purse, a bag, a scarf, some money, a badge. And lead to read these words.
5. Give students three minutes to read the dialogue in Part A. Then answer these questions, such as:
Whose scarf is this
Whose bag is this
Whose purse is this
Is this Miss Guo’s purse
6. Listen to the tape of Part A, and then read after it. And read after the teacher.
7. Practice the conversation by themselves in groups. Then act the dialogue in the class.
Consolidation
1. Show them the cards of the words, and let the students read the words.
2. Let the students put their things in a box, then let the others guess, Whose is this
S1: Is it Lily’s book
S2: No, it isn’t. It’s Peter’s book.

Warmer
1. Greetings between the teacher and the students.
2. Sing an English song: If you are happy and you know it.
Presentation
1. Show them a bag, and let the students look the things in the bag:
A purse, a badge, a scarf, a pen, a pair of glasses, some money, two coins.
At the same time, write the words on the blackboard, and read them.
2. Play a game. Magic eyes.
The teacher put some things in a big box,
And let the students guess “ What is in it ”
T: Golden eyes, golden eyes. Who has golden eyes
S1: I have golden eyes.
T: Can you guess what is in the box
S1: Is it a bag
S2: Is it a purse
……
T: Sorry, I don’t know. Please touch it and tell us the answer.
S3: Oh! It’s a scarf.
3. Listen to Part C, practice in groups.
Game. Dragon game.

S2: It’s Peter’s purse. Whose is this pencil-box
S3: It’s Mary’s pencil-box.
4. Let the students read Part D by themselves. And listen to the tape of Part D, then answer some questions about Part D, such as: Whose dress is this Is that Dino’s dress
5. Listen to the tape and read after the tape. Then act the dialogue in groups.
Consolidation
1. Show them the word cards of Part E, and let the students try to read the words.
2. Read after the tape.
3. Do the exercises in their Students’ book.
