一、目标与内容:
1、To revise and extend the pupils’ general knowledge of the names of countries and places. 大部分同学能够听说和认读:Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America, Arctic, Antarctic. 部分同学能认读拓展词汇:Sydney, Cairo, St Paul
2、To develop the pupils’ general knowledge of where the animals come from.学生能够理解阅读材料中come from,live in,can find的含义,学生通过本节课的学习能够了解代表性动物的栖息地,并尝试运用live in短语进行表述。
3、To continue work on animal description. 学生通过阅读游戏对8种代表性动物的外形特征、生活习性、居住地等常识有了一定的了解。通过阅读范文,借助教师提供的结构框架,大部分学生可以独立开展写作练习。并要求学生在课后进一步有所发展。
二、重点
1. 8个地域名称的认读及上口。
2.丰富对动物的描述。
三、难点:
1、8个地域名称的上口和正确发音。the Arctic, the Antarctic音、形、义的区分。
2、尝试综合运用所学知识,对动物进行描述。。
四、学生的学习情况分析:
学生在前面的学习中掌握了相当的animal vocabulary.能够选择自己喜欢的动物对它的外形和能力作简单的描述。学生对于的篇章阅读水平处于入门阶段。
