Section C是SectionA、B的延续。Section C又是Section D的前奏。是本单元四个部分中最重要的一环。
重点：以“not…until…和 as soon as” 引导的时间状语从句的学习和使用
学情分析
八年级学生的心理特征:自主、独立，具有较强的求知欲和探索精神，有一定的词汇量和理解力，他们热爱思考、敢于表达。
教法：创设情境、问题式和启发式相结合

难点：文段中的新单词、短语和时间状语从句的学习和使用二、教学目标知识目标

（2）一张北京地图，利用方位词的表达，找出十三陵的位置：The Tombs are in the northwest of Beijing。
（3）课文中四张图在屏幕上依次呈现，请同学们直观描述图片中的故事情节。此过程引出并学习部分生词：tour, space, step, push, toe。(1)(2)(3)(4)New words: tour, space, step, toe, beside2、略读精读、设疑激趣（1）略读：较简单的正误判断题。快速阅读文段，对不认识的单词词组先略过，把握文章大意，并对问题进行抢答。（分组记分）
