Lesson 37
知识目标： 学习有关职业的单词： teacher/ cook / mailman / salesclerk / singer / dentist / computer programmer.
能力目标： 1.能用英语询问和回答有关职业的问题。
2.通过学习，培养学生的语言运用能力和语言交际能力。
德育目标： 培养学生热爱学习的好习惯。
教学重点： 认读有关职业的生词。
教学难点： 生词hairdresser/computer programmer
教学用具： 教学挂图、教学录音磁带，单词卡，有关职业的部分标志物品，家庭照片及有关家庭成员的单词卡片。
教学过程：
Step 1: Greeting: Hello, boys and girls, Let us begin our class.
Step 2: Warming up
1. Show a picture of my family members. Introduce them to the pupils.
2. Ask some questions about jobs to review some jobs they’ve learned, such as: what does he do He is a teacher.
Step3 Presentation
1. Direct the pupils to observe the picture in Part A, Encourage them to speak out these characters. Try to perceive their characteristics.
2. Play the tape for the students to listen. First from the beginning to the end, then listen to the sentences one by one.
3. Listen and number.
Play the tape for the students to listen and number the pictures in part A, Then listen again and give a check, Next, check the answers in pairs
At last check in class.
Step4 Practice
1. Let the students read the cards together. Then let them try to read by some individual students.
2. Play a game to consolidate the words. Then read after the sentences in the bubbles.
3. Group work: Divide them into two groups to practice.
One pupil say, another act.
4. Read the cards not in order. Let the students read alone. Have a reading match to make more interesting and try to remember the words and phrases.
5. Listen and point one student point, others speak, Then one speaks and others point to practice the words we have learned.
Step 5 Let’s talk
1. First, review some old sentences like this: Who’s that man He’s Andy’s father. What does Andy’s father do He’s a…
2. Play for the pupils, then practise in pairs.
3. Perform with two dolls to make more interesting.
4.Work in pairs.
Step 6 Let’s play
1. First, make an example for them. T: What do you want to be S: I want to be a ……
2. Group work (two pupils is a group)
3. Show their activities in public and access.
