i. Show the picture one, lead the students to discuss the story
Questions: Where are Jack and Mary
What are they doing
What shows is on TV
What’s the matter
ii. Read the story
Discuss every picture in orders, then read every part after discuss.
iii. Listen and put the pictures in right orders
（1） Listen to the tape and point the pictures
（2） Choose the pictures after listening
iv. Read the story , find out the new words and sentences
v. The teacher explains new words and sentences, let the students know the story clearly.
vi. Listen and repeat after the tape.
vii. Do the exercises of Part B.
viii. Act the story in groups and class.
（三）Homework:
1. Listen to the story \try to read and act.
2. Remember the new words and sentences.
（四）The design of writing:
