Teaching Procedures:
1. Warm up
a) greetings
b) Sing a song “Pen and pencils”
c) Review the instructions:
Pack your bag. Open your books. Close your mouth…
2. Presentation:
a) Show real things or pictures to ask the colours.
What colour is this desk (pen .pencil…)
It’s red (yellow,green,blue,purple…)
(Practise in pairs)
b) Show colour pictures to learn the vocabulary of colours. Pay attention to their spelling.
c) Show a picture of a rainbow.
Teacher: Here’s a picture of a rainbow. Do you know how the rainbow is formed
Pupils: It is formed by the sunshine shining on the vaper.
Teacher: Very good. Rainbow is the gift from the nature for us to enjoy. The maintenance of the joy depends on our environmental protection. If we keep the sky and air clear, we can see beautiful rainbows often.

T: What’s that in the sky It’s the sun.
T: What colour is the sun. Ps: It’s red.
d) Listen and look at the computer screen and try to comprehend the text.
Answer the questions about the text:
e) Read after the tape again and again.
3. Practice:
a) Let four pupils to act the text and then act it out in groups.
