Period One Part A B C& D
Teaching Steps:
Step 1. Warm-up activities.
a. Free talking . Review the everyday English. let the Ss answer my questions one by one.
b.Sing an English song.
c.Ask and answer.
Step 2. Presentation.
A: Ask a student: Are you LiMing Then ask: Are you a teacher Tell him: No,I'm not. Then ask the other Ss:Is he a teacher Help them answer: No ,he isn't. Show a picture, Learn the names of the professions. soldier. postman doctor nurse policeman fisherman driver. Teach the new words with the picture or gestures.
Ask the Ss to act the professions. then ask and answer.
Is he a soldier Yes ,he is\ No ,he isn't.
B.Books open, .Learn some sentences. Then read after the teacher.
Step3 Practise.
Practice the conversation. Make dialogues with their gestures. ,Practice in pairs\groups. . Ask 3 students to act it out.
Step 4 Act
Is he a soldiers Yes he is ,No he isn't.
Change the pictures,ask and answer..
Step5 Review the words
Show the words cards, learn it one by one. glueing it on the Bb. Read the words loudy.play games.
Step6 Let's read.
Read the story of Tim and Dino..
Then act it out
Homework：Read the text,Draw the picture of their favourite profession. Practise the conversation.
Period 2 (Part E&F)
Teaching Steps:
Step1. Revise the conversation.
Ask and answer,review the everyday English.
Ask a pair of Ss to act the the dialogue 。.
Step2. Ask and answer.
Ask and answer the professions.
Step 3. Learn the new words
Review the word that we have learnd.
Teach the letter Gg
Teach the new words:Gg as in girl bag pig goat grass green.
Consolidate the words by games
Step 4 Read the sentences
Read the sentence : The green frog jumps on the green ,green grass. Show the picture. Grasp pronuciation of the letter Ff in the words..

Write the new words: get mag ,Let them try pronuciate .
Step 5 Write the words and letter Ff in the exercise books.
Step6 Let's have fun.
Turn the hand and act.
Homework:
Ask and answer about the professions .
Assessment One
A: Listen to the tape .Put a tick or cross for each picture.
B.Listen and number the picture.
C. Match each picture to the correct sentence.
