一、教学目标
1.能掌握left和right的用法,理解单词sailor, soldier, traffic police的含义;
2.能运用已学的词汇询问他人职业;
3.能掌握名词复数的基本变化规律。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:运用句型询问他人职业;对指令left和right做出快速回应。
难点:名词复数的规则变化。
三、教学准备
水手、士兵等的帽子头饰,Dino头饰,单词卡片,教学挂图,教学磁带等。
四、教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
1.师生问候。
2.有节奏地说唱《学生用书》第二册第四单元的韵律诗。边唱边做动作。
One, two, three, four, five
Once I caught a fish alive.
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten
Then I let it go again.
Why did you let it go
Because it bit my finger so.
Which finger did it bite
The little finger on the right.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
游戏——Dragon game (接龙游戏)
分组进行比赛。从1数到10,看哪组数得最顺畅。
S1:One.
S2: One, two.
S3: One, two, three.
S4: One two, three, four.
……
在数字后加上名词(如flower, nose, finger, leg, head, toe, hand等)继续游戏。
S1:One flower /nose /finger /leg /head /hand /……
S2: Three flowers /noses /fingers /legs /heads/ hands……
1.选出说得最快最准的一组上讲台。出示单词卡片a teacher。
S1: One teacher.
S2: Two teachers.
S3: Three teachers.
S4: Four teachers.
S5: Five teachers.
接着出示单词卡片a cook, a farmer, a doctor, a soldier等。让学生反复练说。
2.出示帽子头饰。
T:Look, What am I now
Ss: You are a sailor.
换上士兵的帽子,引导学生说出soldier。
出示有很多sailor和soldier的图片。
T: What are they
Ss: They are sailors.
T: What are they
Ss: They are soldiers.
帮助学生回答。板书单词并带读。
游戏——Quick response(快速反应)
选择6名学生上讲台,戴上帽子头饰,分成Soldiers和Sailors两组,站成直线。然后根据老师的命令,快速作出反应。看哪组反应得又快又准。多选择几组进行游戏。
T: Ready go. Left, right. Left, right.
Turn left. Turn right. Turn right. Turn right.
Step 3 Practice
1.听课文A部分录音。
2.分小组练习。
Step 4 Consolidation
游戏——A little actor (小演员)
让3位“小演员”戴上头饰,在教室外准备好。等老师与教室里的学生打完招呼,便喊着口令走起来。
S1-3: Left, right. Left, right.
S1: Stop. Turn left.
T: What are you Are you soldiers
S1-3: No, we’re not soldiers.
T: Are you sailors
S1-3: Yes, We’re sailors.
T: Look at their hats. They are so cool. Could you give them to me, please.
S1-3: OK!
T: Thanks. Go back to your seat, please!
1.评价。对学生的游戏进行评价,评出“最佳表演奖”。
2.练习。
3.家庭作业。邀请爸爸妈妈一起练习本课口令。
