Step 1 warm-up
1. Greetings
2.sing a song
Watermelon watermelon ,do you like Do you like
Do you like watermelon Do you like watermelon? Do
You like watermelon Yes,.I do yes.I do.(用“两只老虎“的曲调)
3.Guessing game (快闪水果卡片)
T:Look at me.what’s in my box Look look look。
Step 2 Presentation
A Apple
1. guessing and learning : apple
T shows the picture of apple .Ss guess it
T teaches; Apple apple it’s an apple .
2 T: What colour is it
Ss: red/green.
Ss practice like: Apple , apple, a red/green apple.
B. strawberry
1. Listen to the tape (the strawberry song )
Straw-ber- ry, straw -ber -ry, do you like, do you like Straw-ber- ry, straw -ber -ry, do you like, do you like Yes, I do.(两只老虎的曲调)
2. T:strawberry what’s meanning Look at the picture.
S:草莓。
T;follow me 3 times .( strawberry)
3 . Game: High and low voice
If T speaks loudly Ss speak lowly: strawberry.
C .banana
1 T shows the picture that lomk at the bananas .Can you spell it
Ss:(T helps them do it.)b-a-n-a-n-a
T:What colour is it
Ss:Yellow banana
T say “bananas bananas yellow bananas.”
2.Chant the rhyme with the 2 fruits after the T:
Apple, apple ,a red apple.
Strawberry, strawberry, red too.
Bananas, bananas, yellow bananas.
(Purposes: To encourage Ss to participate in actively.学科融合,渗透审美教育,穿插音乐、全身动作反应、小诗朗诵,激励学生积极地参与。)
D .Grapes
1.guess and learning
T describes grape:It’spurple. They look like small .It’sweet . Guess what fruit it is.
T teaches it after Ss guess it out : grape, grape, purple grape.
2. Read the words after the recording once;
Pairs read the words once.
3 .Quick response.
T points to the cards and pictures . Ss say the words quickly.
Step3 Practice
1. Game: Hide and find.
One pupil being Sun Wukong waits out of the classroom. T hides one fruit in a definite corner of the room, then asks Sun Wukong to find it. The other Ss try to help him by: (For example:) Apple, apple, apple… When Sun Wukong is near the fruit , Ss say loudly; When he is go far from it, Ss say lowly.
(Purpose: Use TPR ,performance, situation, Listening and Speaking to make study easier .让学生深刻感受英语、习得英语,提高他们的综合素质。)
2. Research:
A、 T: Make a research and sum up what fruits are the classmates’ favourite , so that we can buy the fruits for the party on the Children’s Day.

3. Let’s sing: An apple a day. Ss sing and act together. T remind Ss of the health tips again. (用轻快的旋律唤醒学生,用强烈的节奏感染学生;多处运用音乐,英语的学习就化难为“乐”了,也使课堂充满歌声和英语.)
Step 4 Homework
1. Listen to the recording and read the words after it.
2. Tell your parents the names of the fruits you’ve learnt.
( Purposes: to consolidate what they have revised and do more oral practice.)
