TEACHING AIDS: pictures ,tape and some transparencies
TEACHING PERIOD: the third period
PROCEDURES:Getting ready
Point to the picture of the girl holding a guitar.
T: what’s she asking [Ss: whose guitar is this ]
T: whose guitar is this (point to the picture of gogo with the guitar.)[Ss: it’s gogo’s.]
Using the book
T: now, read each question and answer.
Put Ss into pairs to ask and answer the questions.

Song
Getting ready
Point to the lyrics and read them to Ss.
T: (point to a picture of Tony.)whose ball is it [Ss: it’s tony’s.]
Repeat with the picture of jenny.
Using the book
T: let’s sign a song! Let’s listen to it first.
Play the tape.
T: now let’s sing!
Play the tape again and have Ss sing along.
T: now let’s add actions and sing it again.
Model the actions. Pretend to bounce a ball for the first verse, then pretend to cradle a doll in your arms for the second verse.

Activity 1
Getting ready
Put picture cards 71 jenny’s and 72 gogo’s on the board.
Above jenny’s card, write whose ruler is this Write it’s .under the card.
Ask a student to come up to the board.
T: (point to jenny’s.)whose ruler is this [s1: it’s jenny’s /it’s jenny’s ruler.]
T: (give s1 a piece of chalk/marker.) fill in the blank.
Have s1 write jenny’s or jenny’s ruler in the blank.
Using the book
T: look at the pictures.
For numbers 2 and 4, read the answers. Ss ask the question, e.g. whose stuffen animal is it
Writer a part of the question on the board for Ss to copy, e.g. whose is it Or skateboard is it
T: write this in your book. Finish the sentence.
For number 3, write part of the answer on the board for Ss to copy, e.g. it’s .
T: write this in your book. Finish the sentence.
