一、Language:
Target: How much is a bar of soap near your home
It’s two yuan.
How much is it near your home
It’s three yuan.
My soap is cheaper than yours.
My soap is more expensive than yours.
The shop near Wendy’s home has the cheapest chairs.
You can buy the cheapest pineapple near Tim’s home.

五、课前准备：
Get the students to go to the shops near their home and ask about how much the things are in the shops.
How much are they
a bottle of shampoo
a new chair
a computer game
a new jacket
a pineapple
a ping-pong ball
a packet of playing cards
a skateboard
a doll
六、教学过程：
Step1.
Ask and answer:
How much is a bar of soap near your home
It’s two yuan.
How much is it near your home
It’s three yuan.
Put students into groups of four. Then invite a group to the front of the class and act out the dialog on page 68.
Give time for each group to discuss and find the cheapest place to buy the things on the list.
e.g. My soap is cheaper than yours.
My soap is more expensive than yours.
When they are finished, each group should send a representative to the frond of the classroom and report their resilt.
e.g. The shop near Wendy’s home has the cheapest chairs.
You can buy the cheapest pineapple near Tim’s home.
Step2. Exercise:
Finish the exercises in WB.
Step3. Bonus3
Ask and answer
Put Ss into pairs. Ask pairs to look at Bonus 3 page 77 first. Student As ask 10 questions about the pictures on the page. E.g. Which planet is the biggest Students B must answer each question according to the pictures on page 77 within three seconds. They gain a point for each correct answer. When they are finished, ask pairs to look at page 78. This time, Student Bs ask questions while Student As answer.
Step4. Extension activities(延展活动)
WB/P60/Word search puzzle.
WB/P61/Help the frog.
Step5. Homework:
Revise all the words and sentences in this unit.
