教学重难点 1.本课时词汇特别多，除去term这个单词其他所有单词都是四会词，所以在本单元的第一课时，可用一定的时间采用口语形式解决12个表示月份的词语，以减少在本课时中的单词压力，在授课过程中，可用引导性对话或场景帮助学生理解和识记新的单词。2.词汇January，summer, autumn，winter四个单词在二年级口语中已经学过，所以学生对这些单词的掌握问题不大。但是first, second , third, fourth 容易出现发音以及拼写问题，所以应该加强这些单词的再现率。3.句型How many terms do you have… 在三年级中已经学习过，所以在本课学习中只是加深运用。4.句型When does …start 以及其答语It starts in …and ends in …部分学生难于上口和理解， 应该避免单调的机械操练。

Please write down the months you hear.TermBegin in End inAutumn termSeptember DecemberWinter termJanuary AprilSpring termMay July Summer termJulySeptember引导学生，通过集体、小组等多种方式，操练新句型“When do they start/begin in ” It starts in …and ends in…f) 通过CHANT巩固句型When do they start/begin in when does the autumn term start It starts in September and ends in December.When does the winter term start It starts in January and ends in April.When does the spring term start It stars in May and ends in July.When does the summer term start It starts in July and ends in septermbet.老师首先进行示范，接着让学生跟着老师进行CHANT，并利用表示季节的卡片，让学生对划线的单词进行替换。g) 引导学生，通过卡片，进行对话交际，意义性操练新句型“ When do they start/begin in a)因为关于季节的单词口语已经学过，所以根据所板书的表格可以让学生说出四个季节的单词。b) 在听第一遍的过程中学生基本能够听出Rose and Tom’s school year的四个学期。老师在旁加以说明。有一定基础的学生可以完成练习。 c) 通过听力训练提高学生听力能力，养成听力习惯。引出习语 on holiday. 要学生猜出该习惯用语的含义。d) 学生在第二次听力练习中既深刻理解课文的含义，又可以把相对应的月份找出，提出新单词。e)学生在操练的过程中上口，采用小组的形式用季节替换的办法来训练并掌握句型。f) 学生通过老师的示范，学会这首CHANT，在熟悉的基础下，根据老师手中的卡片来替换并操练。g) 抽取不同的卡片，并与其他同学进行交流。 掌握这些知识，既解决了四个关于季节的单词，并板书四个新单词。同时也让学生深刻理解term的含义。并为课文内容的上口、理解，运用做好铺垫。b)学生在掌握四个季节的单词基础上，可以在听力的练习中理解四个学期的四个短语，同时又加深对How many …这一句型是操练。同时也增强学生发听说能力。c)由于部分学生听力水平有限，所以必须反复操练，并在练习中提出新的单词，在运用中巩固单词的作用。d)通过两次听课文材料，在这一过程中找出我们必须掌握的词汇外也对学生提出疑问，请大家考虑我们国家与Rose and Tom 所在国家的不同点。 e)在这一过程中解决重点句型。提高学生口语。f) 通过CHANT进行操练，学生更容易上口，并能更好地提高学生的学习兴趣。用图片进行替换，能更好地对重难点进行突破。g) 使用图片进行意义性操练，达到使用句型进行交际的目的。
拓展 a)使用课件做出相关的图片，请学生来说。b) 呈现课文CAI，让学生理解课文并进行朗读。 a) 学生通过观察图片，尝试运用新句型表达图片的内容。b)看、听课文CAI，并朗读课文。 a) 学生通过课件和运用句型，理解课文主要内容，并把课文的主要句子呈现出来。b) 进入课文朗读。

教学评估与反思 在教授月份之前，本人已在每天黑板上写下当天的日期，并讲授了读法、写法及其规律，以分散难点，从而降低了学生的学习难度，对于十二个月份和四个季节，我不急于立刻让学生掌握，而是分步提出要求。在教学中不拘于固定的模式，灵活地进行处理。
