T: Hello, boys and girls, nice to see you. Open your books and turn to page 13, look at the text. Read after me.
Ask Ss to read the text collectively.
Students read the text in roles.
Some students act as little teacher and teach others.
Step2. Presentation
Ss make comparative sentences with words:
Fatter thinner taller shorter longer shorter
Ss write the bigger bird or the smaller bird according to the story.
1. This bird became thinner and thinner.
1. This bird ate more than the other bird.
1. This bird could get the food easily through the hole.
Do Part E.
1. My toy dog is cheaper than yours.
1. My car is older than yours.
1. My basket is bigger than yours.
1. My book is smaller than yours.
