Step 1 Warming up:
Greetings.
Ss ask each other.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1. T shows picture of a head
2. Learn to read the words
4. Learn to say the sentences

5. T ask Ss to be a model, then others can find the part of body.
6.Learn Part A.
Listen to the tape (Part A, B), read after the tape.
Step 3 Practice
1. Group in four act the Part A.
2. Game: This is a nose.
Let students come to the front and guess.
Step 4. Consolidation
1. free talk.

3. Homework: listen to the tape, read the text.

3. Look at the pictures and read the words.
4. Look the mouth and guess the words.
Step 2 Presentation and drill

4. Look at the picture in Part D and listen to the tape.

Ss read the dialogue.

1.Teacher shows the picture and word of a hen then write “i” on Bb, let Ss read.
Mark “i”, let the Ss find out the reading-rule of e in the word hen.
Write out other words in part E with “i”,
Let Ss try to read.

1. Listen to the tape of Part E.
2. Chant the words and sentences
3. Write “Ii” in the book.
