Lesson 33:What Does Life Mean

Step1. Come to “THINK ABOUT IT”.
Divide the class into groups of three or four. Talk about the questions. If they think the topics are too difficult for them, the teacher can add the content: “What do you want to be in the future Why ”
This question is easier than the others. They can talk a lot about the topic. Now lead them talk about the future, the dream and the life. It seems easier now.
Step2.Listen to the tape and then let the students say the main idea about the text.

Then the teacher sum what they say. It tells us the life’s meaning. It leads us to think about the life. Now we are living on the earth. Some of us are happy. Others are sad. When we are free, we can think about these questions.
Step3. Read the text. Let they underline the language points of this text. Ask the students to solve the problems. They can use dictionaries and ask the teacher if necessary. The teacher helps them some on the blackboard.

Bring the answers to school. Discuss their answers in groups. Let’s see if they have any differences between their answers. Discuss why these differences exist.

Step1. Ask the students the following questions:
