Assessment Ⅰ
Teaching Aims:
The students are required to
1. review the words that appears in the previous units;
2. review the new sentence models that appears in the previous units;
3. be able to sing the English songs that appears in the previous units.
Teaching Importances:
It’s very important for the students to review all the words and sentences models of the previous units.
Teaching Difficulties:
It’s difficult for students to master all the sentence models that appear in the previous units..

Teaching Steps:
Ⅰ Warm-up
T: hello! How are you Boys and girls.
Ss: fine, thank you!
T: how’s your yesterday
S1: I finished my homework.
S2: it’s my birthday. My family and I had a wonderful birthday party. And I received a lot of birthday presents.
T: that’s cool.
S3: last night, I had a fight with my sister. But now I regret doing it. I am very sorry.
T: oh, it doesn’t matter. It’s never late for you to realize your mistakes. But do remember you can never have that mistake happen again.
S4:….
…….
T: ok. Thank you for your sharing your happiness and unhappiness with me. Whatever, let’s keep heading on. Cause life is always beautiful with an optimistic heart. Now let’s move on to our class.
Ⅱ Presentation and Drill
1. Review the words
T: is there any one who would like to tell me which new words we have learned in the previous units
S1: dumpling, noodles, cake, bread…..
S2: elephant, tiger, monkey…
S3: small, big, short, long…
S4:…..
T: wow, that’s cool. You did a very good job. Just now, those words the few students mentioned have almost included all the new words we have learned in the previous units. We can divided them into a few parts, which are animals, food, figure, colour. ( show the words on the screen)
2. Review the sentence models
T: just now, we reviewed all the new words we learned. Now can anyone tell me the sentence models we have learned in the previous units
S1: we learned the sentence “ what do you like I like and I don’t like”.
S2: and sentence like this “is this your …. It’s….”.
S3: we also learned the sentence “ it has…., she has…, this is…”.
S4:……
T: wow. That’s nice job. Ok. Now we have a review of all the sentences we have learned. You guys repeat it with me. Ok ( show the sentences on the screen)
Ss: yes.
Ⅲ Practice
Design a condition where two students or more talk to each other in English for practicing their oral Eglish.
For example, Tom meets Jerry in the street with his lilltle brother. Then Tom introduces his brother to Jerry and Jerry to his brother.
At last, any volunteer can show themslves in frontt of all the class.
