Presentation
In stressed syllables, we give the vowels a strong pronunciation (clear and long).
In unstressed syllables, we give the vowels a weak pronunciation (unclear and short).
This adds rhythm to words and sentences when we speak.
Work out the rules
在句子中,我们通常重读名词、普通动词、形容词和副词,而不重读冠词、人称代词、介词、连词、be动词、助动词或情态动词。
重读音节读的较为缓慢、清晰,而非重读音节读的较快,不那么清晰,且插在重读音节之间。
注意:一般来说,多数代词是不重读的,如her, me, it, them等。但一部分代词,如指示代词和疑问代词(this, what等),就要重读。
