关于教材内容的研究
1.位置和内容:这是新目标英语(Go for it)八年级下册第五单元第五课时。学会谈论过去发生的事情、学会讲故事是本单元的语言目标。如何使用过去进行时及使用when、while引导的时间状语从句是本单元的重点内容。本单元的主题是“难忘的事情(Unforgettable events)”,其功能项目(functions)是“谈论过去的事情(Talk about past events)”和“讲故事(Tell a story)”。本单元的目标语言(Target language)是要求学生掌握过去进行时态的结构和功能,使学生学会用when和while从句,以及用过去进行时态表示在过去的某个时间正在发生什么事情。本单元的主要学习方法是Using context和Role-play。本单元结束时要达到的教学目标是让学生运用本单元所学知识讲述过去发生的事情,以及讲述故事。本部分内容的教学应分为六个课时,包括新授五课时和复习一课时。
2.重难点分析:
教学重点:过去进行时态:“was / were + doing”结构, reading skills
教学难点:reading skills
一、设计适当的场景进行词汇教学。
二、通过英文歌曲的欣赏来开启课堂教学,能迅速吸引学生的兴趣,培养良好的教学氛围,拉近师生之间的距离。然后通过精心设计的听力练习、口语对话,以及阅读练习来对本单元的知识进行全面的学习。大量的阅读技巧能够使学生更好地将语言知识运用到语言实践中,提高学生的综合语言能力。
三、通过开展听力训练和指导学生进行retell的形式,提升学生的听说水平。阅读练习侧重于训练学生对于阅读技巧的掌握。
四、英语写作是本单元的重点内容,也是英语学习中的一个难点。教师要提高学生的英语写作能力,可以参考以下英语写作原则:
1.渐进性原则。即坚持“句-段-篇”的训练程序,由易到难、先短后长、循序渐进。先学会运用简单句、并列句,后学会用复合句表达。如先用现在进行时写一句话,再用带when/while的复合句写一个句子。2.多样性原则。要坚持训练形式多样化,如仿写、改写、扩写、情景作文、短文写作等。3.结合性原则。听、说、读、写是相辅相成、互相促进的,坚持听说训练和读写训练相互结合,把写作训练与听说读紧密结合,进行多元化的能力训练,可使学生的各项能力互相渗透、互相促进。4.持久性原则。英语写作能力的提高并非一朝一夕之事,而是一个长期的、渐进的过程。所以,应该争取做到“四个一”,即每周一次习作课,每周一篇英语日记,每单元一篇话题作文,每个模块一次作文测试,一次达到训练的持久性。
Unit5 SectionB2a-2e反思
本课主要围绕“谈论过去发生的事情”这个话题展开教学。谈论如何使用过去进行时,这是本单元的重点内容。为了让学生更好的认识过去进行时,本节课安排了教学内容:Section B(2a-2e), 同时我也创造了一些便于进行沟通交流的情境,让学生学会使用过去进行时。通过上课及课后回顾,我有以下认识:
复习引入较好地激发了学生的兴趣,在屏幕上显示图片用 What is he/she doing?和 Where is he/she? 让学生复习巩固已经学过的现在进行时,温故而知新,引入本课重点过去进行时was/were doing,但课堂气氛欠活跃;
虽有小组合作,但小组合作的教学形式体现不明显,虽有分数的统计,激励作用不大。
板书设计不够优美,随意性较大。
教学内容设计较多,学生对话练习欠充分,Role play处理的较匆忙,没有足够的时间让学生诵读。
反馈练习留的时间较少。
