初一学生处于英语学习兴趣培养和学习习惯养成阶段。他们希望在学习过程中享受到乐趣,不希望老师死板地讲解字词及句型。能够激发他们好奇心和创造力,并与他们日常生活紧密相连的学习语境是他们希望教师在课堂上能呈现的东西。一旦教师走进他们的生活,他们就愿意跟着教师走,掌握文化知识,了解学习策略,形成良好的人生观和价值观。

通过课件上的图片,学习新单词并将其放入句子中练习。For exmaple:出示唱歌的图片引出单词sing,带领学生学习其读音及拼写,然后放到句子I can sing
中练习,接着练习一般疑问句及其肯定、否定回答:Can you sing?Yes, I can.
No, I can’t.用这种方式学完所有新单词。在学习短语play chess和play the guitar时讲解play的用法。
设计意图:通过把单词放到句子中学习,既有助于单词的记忆又操练了句型,效果很好。

本单元的标题为Can you play the guitar? Section A第一课时 是听说课,话题为:谈论某人的能力。教材设计为1)教学有关课外活动的词汇. 2)听别人谈论他们的课外活动。 3)谈论自己某一方面的能力。

重点:学习并记住本课新单词、短语及谈论某方面的能力。

制定依据:
(1.)学生由小学升入初中正是由儿童向青少年过渡时期,她们的世界观、价值观正处于形成时期。本篇文章价值观念倾向明显,因此,在教学中帮助学生建立正确的价值观。
(2.)学生课后还没养成说英语的习惯,还没掌握应有的听力技巧,没达到新课标对六年级学生听力能力的要求。
3、 教材的地位及作用
《新课程标准》中指出,语言课程丰富的人文内涵对学生精神领域的影响是深远的,学生对于英语材料的反应又是多元的.因而英语课要重视英语的熏陶感染作用,注意教学内容的价值取向.本课时是本单元的第一课时,教材内容围绕着谈论自己某一方面的能力展开,让学生学会谈论自己及别人的能力,符合语言认知规律和学生心理特点。在词汇学习上既承接了前一单元的制定计划、谈论日常活动又为后一单元谈论某人的何时做某事打好基础。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中运用句型进行交际,培养学生的口语表达能力。让学生在学习及应用中,复习巩固以前所学知识,并加以创新,并用到实践中。通过伙伴交流,师生问答的形式,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进友谊。本课是谈论学生某一方面的能力,与学生课外活动息息相关,有利于培养学生高雅的生活情趣。
