1、本课教学内容选自山东教育出版社八年级上册册第四单元SectionA(3a-3c)。主要围绕telling a story这一主题展开各种教学活动，本课时旨在创造一个轻松、愉快、真实的学习、交流环境，通过习得阅读方法和语言输出活动来培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
2、教材：warming-up设置三个问题1. Who are they? 2. In which book are they the main characters?3. Which character do you like best?及图片引出文章3a，通过问题①Which book is talked about？②Who is the main character?③What is he like?激发学生阅读动机，循序渐进设计任务3b及3c，培养学生阅读方法。
3、教材Section A3a-3c 中出现的难点(1)学生能熟读课文并能正确熟练的掌握短语。2、阅读短文，获得相关的信息。通过阅读练习，来提高阅读能力。我设计了pre-reading, while-reading, post-reading及mind map, 话剧表演等游戏活动来帮助学生理解记忆词汇，文章大意帮助学生能正确完成相应的阅读练习。

Once upon a time, an old man called Yu Gong tried to move the mountains, because the mountains were very big and high and blocked （阻挡）their way. 一、设计理念及本节课的亮点
1. 词汇教学贯穿于教学的整个过程， 培养学生的积累意识。
2. 活动设计为教学目标的实现做了充分的准备。本课主要实现两个目标：知识目标（动词过去时，用英语讲故事）和情感目标（多阅读中国传统文学名著，明白中国传统文化的博大、精深，并吸取中国传统文化中的精华）。因此，在活动设计上，紧紧围绕目标展开，思维训练充分，突出了教学重点。
3. 活动设计有梯度和广度。本课的话题是Monky King，是一个学生感兴趣的话题，因此我从引导和活动设计上对课本的知识进行了整合，活动由词到句，由句到段，由段到篇，知识层层递进，活动也由知识而展开。
4. 语言教学中渗透了情感教育。让学生热爱阅读中国古典名著，传承中国文化。
5. 课堂引进评价机制，更好地引导学生从发音、语言、声音各个方面去改进，指导具体到位。
6. 板书设计新颖，突出了授课重点。板书是授课的辅助手段，体现的是课堂的重点和难点。我在板书设计上尽量体现这一原则。
二、存在的不足和需要改进的地方
课堂中，教师对学生的评价语言较为单一。丰富多样的激励性语言更能激发学生的学习欲望。
