《新课程标准》指出,一堂好课需要实现三个维度的目标,包括知识与能力目标(knowledge and capability),过程与方法的目标(process and methods)以及情感态度与价值观的目标(emotion attitude and values)。同时,《新课标》还指出,初中八年级学生在“speaking”的语言技能上应该具备四级水平,即能根据提示给出连贯的简单指令;能引出话题并进行几个回合的交谈;能在教师的帮助下或根据图片用简单的语言描述自己或他人的经历;能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演等活动;能在上述口语活动中使用正确的语音、语调。
本课时以Can you come to my party?”为中心话题,围绕“发出,接受,拒绝邀请”展开,学习礼貌用语的表达和人际交往的基本常识,本单元内容与实际生活息息相关,是学生感兴趣的话题,是对情态动词can引导的一般疑问句的进一步学习, 又是对所学的用现在进行时表将来的巩固,谈论已有的计划或安排。
本课是本单元B部分的第一课时,根据“听说领先”的原则,第一课时主要是听说课。主要教学内容是重点词汇短语的掌握和运用,以及学会用英语礼貌得体地向他人提出邀请,并能礼貌地拒绝邀请并且陈述原因, 能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演等活动;能在上述口语活动中使用正确的语音、语调。在教学中注意区别can情态动词的用法,在本单元中除了表示能够外,还可以表示邀请。有的老师主张第一课时以说为主,可以把听力内容去掉。但是我觉得,“听、说、读、写”四个技能并不应该把它们割裂开来。而且,必须有一定容量的听的输入,学生才能够有内容可以输出。而且听力对很多中学生来说,都是一个难点。因此,在本堂课中我仍然做了大量的听力练习。
《英语课程标准》指出:教师在教学中要创造性地使用教材,选择符合学生现有知识水平和经验的教学内容。因此根据本课教学目标和语言实际使用情况,对教学内容进行了调整和补充。在做完第一个听力的练习后,我请同学们根据听过的内容,把一篇文章填写完整。这样做既进一步使学生熟悉了所听到的内容,又培养了灵活使用所学语言的能力。在做第二个听力练习的时候,我也没有要求学生简单地跟读听力材料,而是在大致了解听力内容的前提下,仔细听并模仿听力中人物的语音语调把听到的句子背诵出来。这样的要求使得学生不得不更加认真地去听所听的内容,不仅锻炼了听的能力,同时也提高了说的水平,鼓励学生听完整的句子,说完整的句子。我觉得这也是对教材的一种处理。
八年级学生经过中学一年多系统的英语学习,具备了一定的基础和听说能力,正逐步向读写过渡。八上的学生已经掌握了can 的用法和简略回答,已经可以运用can来询问和表达能否做到某事,同时也已经掌握了一些基本动词,如play, study, help, visit并能运用这些基本动词来表达一些日常的活动。同时通过一年多新课程理念的熏陶和实践,有了初步自主合作, 分析归纳的能力。学生处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产生了恐惧厌恶心理,不愿开口说英语。因此消除学生厌学情绪,激发调动学生学习兴趣显得至关重要。
我设想通过一系列的情景设计、播放一段生日歌英文歌曲的MV来、小组活动、两对话等形式活跃课堂的气氛,让学生熟练运用所学句型。从效果看,基本达到了预期效果在细节的处理上还需提高,老师的课堂用语还需进一步简练。
通过本节课,我觉得重视基础,注意知识点的落实更为重要。我并没有用许多比较花哨的步骤,而是围绕本课重点can you come to my party? Sure, I’d love to. / Sorry, I can’t. I have to…创设了很多情境,让学生操练。在真实的语境中提高了学生使用语言进行交际的能力。另外,学生在掌握语言知识,提培养提高运用语言交际的能力的同时,也得到了情感与价值观的教育,即通过活动的开展,引导学生学会用英语礼貌得体地提出邀请, 营造积极乐观的人际氛围,表达自己的意愿,培养学生良好的人际关系和较高的文化修养。
《英语课程标准》以描述学生“能做什么”为主线,强调学生能用所学的英语做事情。《英语课程标准》建议教师在课堂教学中采用实践性强,具有明确任务目标的“任务型”学习途径和方式。我在这节课中通过创设良好的语言环境和提供大量的语言实践机会,让学生运用所学目标语言去完成各个任务。学生在完成任务过程中,通过自己的体验、感知、实践、参与和交流,形成语感,提高语言运用能力。因此我觉得总体来说,我的这堂课应该还是比较落实的。
但是上完这节课,其实应该说是在上课的过程中,我就感觉到了一些不足之处。比如说,由于临时改变了导入环节,我在心理上不免产生了一些紧张和焦虑的情绪。这使我在上课的时候过于注重上课的过程和节奏,或多或少忽略了学生的接受情况。又因为我事先做好了学生可能会出现不够配合等的情况,因此我在上课的时候只是简单地要求学生按顺序完成任务或回答问题,并没有最大限度地调动学生的学习热情。同时,自己在上课的时候也是冷静由于而激情不足。
今后在上课的过程中,我要努力做到认真反思,及时调整,不断提高。

为了激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生真正树立“学习英语是一件简单而快乐的的事情”的学习理念,我积极采取多种多样的授课方式和内容,如组间决赛,英文格言,即兴表演等,引导学生感受学习英语的乐趣,同时培养学生的创新思维。为达成上述教学目标,根据Go for it!教材的特点,我们将运用任务型教学途径,而学生也相应地采取自主、合作、探究的学习方式。

教学过程:
Step 1. Preparation
Talk freely.
Ask and answer between the teacher and the student. Review the words of the week and the expressions on dates. Make sure they can express the days and dates correctly.
Step 2. Presentation
Teach the new words and phrases with the knowledge that students have learned: weekday, the day before yesterday and the day after tomorrow. Get the students to read and remember the new words and phrases.
Then introduce the new knowledge:
T: If we want to know the day and the date, we can ask: What’s today? It’s Friday, 10th.
What about tomorrow?
Help the students to ask and answer: What’s tomorrow? It’s Saturday, 11th.
What about yesterday?
Help the students to ask and answer: What was yesterday? It was Thursday, 9th.
Introduce the day before yesterday and the day after tomorrow in the same way.

新目标英语八年级上册Unit 9 Can you come to my party ?是以“Invitation”为中心话题,通过本单元的学习,要求学生掌握任何运用围绕“Can you …”结构,在日常生活中发出邀请并能根据实际情况接受或拒绝邀请,进而实现对目标语言的运用。这节课主要是运用What’d today? Can you…? I’ m sorry ,I can’t …When is it?强调将学生的动口能力和动手能力结合起来,自己制作日历表(1a,1b),并能根据日历表跟实际情况做出接受或拒绝的回答。
从单元内容的整体安排来看,教材充分体现了话题讨论有点及面、逐步收入,任务设置由易到难、梯度明确的要求,即从邀请别人参加晚会到其他活动并能根据实际情况做出肯定或否定回答,这符合中学生的认知规律。本节课的难点是运用语言目标进行口语交际 。
按照《英语课程标准》对语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等五方面分别提出的相应的具体内容标准,确定本节课的目标如下:
1. 帮助学生成功礼貌的使用目标语言进行交际。
2. 学生能自己正确熟练地运用目标语言。
《新目标英语》中的具体语言目标是通过各种各样的Tasks来实现的;学生需要运用具体而特定的行动来完成一定的交际任务。整个教学过程中,各种语言结构与语言功能与不同的学习任务有机的结合。任务活动所谋求的效果不是一种机械的语言训练,而是侧重在执行任务中学生自我完成任务的能力和策略的培养;重视形式在完成任务过程中的参与和在交流活动中所获得的经验。因此本节课我将始终引导学生通过完成具体的任务活动来学习语言,让学生为了特定的学习目的去实施特定的语言行动,通过完成特定的交际任务来获得和积累相应的学习经验,让学生在用中学,在学中用(Learning by using, learning for using)。
